Staying up?

Alright lads, I've got a cheeky bet on you lot to stay up this season, do you think I wasted my money or are you going to make the impossible, possible?

Selective ignorance of the facts exemplified! Recognises the time added but refutes the reasons why!

you're on track to be the next hafijur, almost there but to get to the next level you have to stop believing what you write.

'The relevance is that LFC supporters are some of the biggest moaners in football, so almost any other group of supporters can label than whiners and moaners without a hint of irony.'

The phrases 'some of' and 'almost any' are true - but unfortunately, United fall in the 'some of the' and not in the 'almost any' group - but you seem unable to grasp this very simple fact!

' How about you come back to me with this accusation when my team gets 10 minutes added on time and a penalty at the end of it.

Also it was a nice extra minute and a half the ref gave you at Anfield against us wasn't it, wouldn't get United getting something like that, even if they did people would be going wild. Even heard someone mention we got an extra 30 seconds against Tottenham, anything closer to what Liverpool got and with us scoring a goal we would have never heard the end of it...'

So are you saying that there isn't a well know phrase 'Fergie Time'? It seems to me that you are saying that is not justified, yet then label all liverpool fans in the same way IRONIC!!

You keep deflecting - it's really working!!! Let me help you out - I agree, Liverpool fans are known to moan a lot. There you go, you have no argument now. Now to the point I am making - United fans are known to moan a lot! Therefore, for a united fan to accuse a Liverpool fan of moaning about a loss is IRONIC! Do you get it now?

' Ohh dear another person who doesn't understand different shades and brightnesses of colours. Tell me can you tell the difference between army camo and a hi vis jacket?'

No - you tell me the difference and then explain how such a radical difference is relevant to two VERY SIMILAR grey kits - It's almost like you don't understand the difference!

I actually can't be bothered to pick though the rest of your tosh - you are a typicle united fan and you don't even know it!!

....................................

That is all I was going to get though, I have heard this argument that United get some advantage from added on time that others don't before. When people are pressed they have no actual proof though. They will only mention vague examples like I have done when if you watched the game you know full well why the time was added on. As most people haven't got perfect memories and indeed because some people would have never seen the game in the first place they cannot know the reasons why the time was added on. Imagine you had never seen that Arsenal Liverpool game or heard of the reasons it went on longer. You would hear About Liverpool scoring a penalty close to 100 minutes into a game and you would think that was very strange, add in a few more which are fully explainable but sound strange when only given a selective version of the facts and you have yourselves the start of a conspiracy...

Which is why I asked for specific examples and it is why none have been provided because the conspiracy is rubbish... I am actually on more solid footing with mine as I have an example and it shows Liverpool getting 10 minutes added on time and a penalty.

So I will give you 3 choices,

1] withdraw your accusation
2] prove your acccusation
3] continue the argument as it is with you refusing proof but continuing your claims and me coming back with 10 minutes extra and a penalty at the end.

You are criticising me but at least I am providing some evidence on my behalf, all your is doing just posting laughing smilies and providing no kind of evidence. I would suggest you are the childlike one out of us.

he phrases 'some of' and 'almost any' are true - but unfortunately, United fall in the 'some of the' and not in the 'almost any' group - but you seem unable to grasp this very simple fact!
............................

Yeah I am sure they are in your little fantasy world, moving swiftly back to the real world and the Scousers are widely known as the moaners.

...........................
So are you saying that there isn't a well know phrase 'Fergie Time'? It seems to me that you are saying that is not justified, yet then label all liverpool fans in the same way IRONIC!!

You didn't get much right there did you?

Firstly I have never denied there is a well known phrase "Fergie time"

............................
It seems to me that you are saying that is not justified, yet then label all liverpool fans in the same way IRONIC!!
..........................

I have never actually labelled all Liverpool fans as Fergie time, extra time or any kind of time as that just doesn't make sense...

............................
You keep deflecting - it's really working!!!
............................

I am doing you the courtesy of answering your rubbish I do not have that favour returned though. Also you are still here talking rubbish so it cannot be working that well.

...............................
Let me help you out - I agree, Liverpool fans are known to moan a lot.
...............................

It is a bit of an understatement but it is progress at least.

..............................
Now to the point I am making - United fans are known to moan a lot! Therefore, for a united fan to accuse a Liverpool fan of moaning about a loss is IRONIC! Do you get it now?
............................

Not quite to the level of Liverpool fans which is where the irony is avoided. It is like someone who makes love [filter friendly version] with their first cousin [which is illegal in some places and legal in some] accusing a brother and sister or parent and child of being sick because of their incestual relations, as the two don't line up the irony goes out the window.

...........................
No - you tell me the difference and then explain how such a radical difference is relevant to two VERY SIMILAR grey kits - It's almost like you don't understand the difference!
..........................

Well If you can't tell the difference between hi-vis and army camo then no wonder you are having so many problems. As I understand it that is a very rare condition you have there, my sympathies.

Ohh and the difference between the kits is they are different shades, given your condition I can understand why that wouldn't mean much to you.

...................................
I actually can't be bothered to pick though the rest of your tosh
..................................

Given what you write I can't believe you have the gall to refer to my posts as tosh.

.................................
you are a typicle united fan and you don't even know it!!
................................

It is quite funny in a line generalising United fans you made a spelling mistake, makes an illiterate scousers joke very tempting. I will be the bigger man this time. As for you telling me what I am and am not if you really think you know me better than me then good for you but you are only fooling yourself.

And you wonder why we are laughing at you! Never read so much rubbish from a United fan before - and i've read a lot! As I say - you are obviously a typical (oh my god he made a spelling mistake, which has no relevance to the argument, but I'll use it anyway as my arguments are so flimsy!) manc fan who is completely oblivious to how other fans see you! Ask any fan of any other team if they think United fans are poor losers and see what the result is - I think you'll find the answer well and truly justifies the labelling of your post as ironic .

"the phrases 'some of' and 'almost any' are true - but unfortunately, United fall in the 'some of the' and not in the 'almost any' group - but you seem unable to grasp this very simple fact!

Eh - they doesn't even make sense! 'They are'? - who are what?!! Again - deflecting away from what mancs are by slating scousers (something I'm not denying!) - exactly what my 8 year old does!

"So are you saying that there isn't a well know phrase 'Fergie Time'? It seems to me that you are saying that is not justified, yet then label all liverpool fans in the same way IRONIC!!

what didn't I get right - a question?!!! how can a question not be right?!!!! And if you read back you will see the phrase 'in the same WAY' that does not mean you are labelling us as 'fergie time' but are labelling us using the same principles that you say are wrong to label united with!!!

'Well If you can't tell the difference between hi-vis and army camo then no wonder you are having so many problems.'

Again - completely missing the point - I'm not sure if you're doing this to be cantankerous or are just stupid, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt: comparing two massively contrasting colours such as camo and hi-vis is not the same as two very similar shades of grey is it?!

Actually if you could read I figured it out a few posts ago, ignorance.

Never read so much rubbish from a United fan before - and i've read a lot!

I can imagine everything must sound like rubbish when you are not conversing with your fellow idiots.

you are obviously a typical (oh my god he made a spelling mistake, which has no relevance to the argument, but I'll use it anyway as my arguments are so flimsy!)

Lets be honest making a spelling mistake as a scouser whilst generalising another group of fans is just asking for trouble.

You ask other groups of fans and they will tell you that Liverpool are famous for their next year is our year rubbish even though you don't actually say it that much.

You do realise whether something is a widely held belief or not doesn't make it any more true.

Eh - they doesn't even make sense! 'They are'? - who are what?!! Again - deflecting away from what mancs are by slating scousers (something I'm not denying!) - exactly what my 8 year old does!

Come on now scouser, I know your education may have been a little lacking but even just from living general life you should be smarter than this.

Basically United do fall into the 'almost any' group you have mentioned. I am sure people that teach those with special needs get paid for their work, now I may not be a professional but surely I should receive some kind of compensation for my work here, at the very least I am keeping them off the streets.

stupidity really doesn't have any limits when it comes to you does it....

Here is your question
"So are you saying that there isn't a well know phrase 'Fergie Time'

Here is my reply
Firstly I have never denied there is a well known phrase "Fergie time"

Usually I would spell it out but the error I pointed out is just so incredibly obvious, I really cannot see where you are struggling here...

..........................
And if you read back you will see the phrase 'in the same WAY' that does not mean you are labelling us as 'fergie time' but are labelling us using the same principles that you say are wrong to label united with!!!
................................

You are very confused aren't you. To be honest I really don't think you have the intelligence for me to able to explain this to you....

................................
Again - completely missing the point - I'm not sure if you're doing this to be cantankerous or are just stupid, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt: comparing two massively contrasting colours such as camo and hi-vis is not the same as two very similar shades of grey is it?!
.........................................

I am pointing out that even the same colour can look different as some people were labouring under the misapprehension that if something is the same colour [and the same shape] as something else it looks exactly the same.

Hi vis and camo example seemed to be the only way to educate people that even the same colour can look different as there are different shades [textures as well]

So your riposte is insult, insult, insult (I'm not a scouser by the way - maybe you can use that as your next deflection?!), insult…..

'You ask other groups of fans and they will tell you that Liverpool are famous for their next year is our year rubbish even though you don't actually say it that much.
You do realise whether something is a widely held belief or not doesn't make it any more true.'

Again - deflection! We are discussing the irony of a manc complaining about a scouser complaining about a games decisions! You think that scousers are more widely known as moaners and then in the above, suggest that widely held beliefs aren't necessary true - you can't have it both ways (much the same as your manager moans when something goes againt you, but then everything is fine when the same thing goes for you!).

…another insult…

'Basically United do fall into the 'almost any' group you have mentioned.'

So you mean 'they do' not 'they are' or do you normal say 'they are fall into the almost group…' and you have the cheek to say I am special needs - thank god you don't teach people with special needs 'cos you'd send them backwards!!!

…more insults…

Here is my question
So are you saying that there isn't a well know phrase 'Fergie Time'?

Here is your reply
You didn't get much right there did you?
Firstly I have never denied there is a well known phrase "Fergie time"

Sorry, but you seemed to have missed the relevant line when reposting - so I've added it back for you! If you read your reply, being the brainiac English genius you purport to be, you will see that the use of the word 'firstly' would suggest that the first point you are making is to back up the previous statement: 'You didn't get much right there did you?'. So I ask again - how can a question be wrong? You are great though - highly entertaining when someone makes an ass of themselves while trying to slate someone's intelligence!

'Hi vis and camo example seemed to be the only way to educate people that even the same colour can look different as there are different shades [textures as well]'

Yes - but we are trying to point out that although two objects can be very different shades of the same colour (eg camo and high-vis) they can also be very similar shades of the same colour (eg liverpool kit and man u kit). I think you can see which of these two has more relevance when talking about two items that have very similar shades (or am I giving you too much credit?!).

@ Arab!

Scouser this and scouser that and coming back with his hi-viz v camo line.

Any fool can see that a hi-viz (which also come in a variety of colours, orange and pink etc. by the way) is definitely discernible to the eye whereas two similar shades of grey are not.

The tenacity and ferocity of his convictions are to be admired.

Like I said if he stopped believing what he writes he'd be the next hafijur!

........................................

Again you are being stupid. I never claimed Liverpool are the biggest moaners because it is a widely held belief or a stereotype or any other nonsense. I said it because in my experience it is true. Now your nonsense about the referees favouring United I have simply asked for proof and you refuse to provide any. The latter does not link up with the former no matter how hard you try but it is quite telling you would rather concentrate on that.

...........................
So you mean 'they do' not 'they are' or do you normal say 'they are fall into the almost group…' and you have the cheek to say I am special needs - thank god you don't teach people with special needs 'cos you'd send them backwards!!!
..............................

Okay the sentence you copy pasted [which makes sense and seems free of errors] into links up to whatever you are talking about here.

So you mean 'they do' not 'they are'

I didn't say they are in what you copy and pasted.

or do you normal say 'they are fall into the almost group…'

Are you using some kind of dodgy translator because that really doesn't make sense, I also said nothing like what you wrote there...

The fact you then accuse me of being stupid, highly entertaining.

..............................
You didn't get much right there did you?'. So I ask again - how can a question be wrong? You are great though - highly entertaining when someone makes an ass of themselves while trying to slate someone's intelligence!
..............................

You really are an incredibly stupid person. For starters only a moron would fail to realise you can ask a question that is wrong. For example If I ask you why you killed that old woman and robbed her stuff that question would be wrong as you probably haven't killed an old woman and robbed her stuff.

Now onto your question you got wrong.

here is your question

So are you saying that there isn't a well know phrase 'Fergie Time'?

Here is my reply
You didn't get much right there did you?
Firstly I have never denied there is a well known phrase "Fergie time"

I thought this would be obvious but clearly I am going to have to spell it out for you. Firstly you say 'So you are saying' which is accusing me of stating something.Secondly you say 'that there isn't a well know phrase' which is stating I am denying the existence of phrase that is well known. The end of the sentence is the subject of it, Fergie time.

So basically you accused me of stating my denial of a phrase that is well known called Fergie time.

My reply stated I had not done this, thus you were wrong. Now if you still struggling with this then I can only wonder how you cope with daily life.

..................................
Yes - but we are trying to point out that although two objects can be very different shades of the same colour (eg camo and high-vis) they can also be very similar shades of the same colour (eg liverpool kit and man u kit). I think you can see which of these two has more relevance when talking about two items that have very similar shades (or am I giving you too much credit?!).
...........................

If they were very similar shades then you would be right, but they are clearly different.

................................
Any fool can see that a hi-viz (which also come in a variety of colours, orange and pink etc. by the way) is definitely discernible to the eye whereas two similar shades of grey are not.
...............................

I agree but why are we talking about two similar shades of grey rather than the Man Utd and Liverpool grey kits?
