Lets hope we get the "LETS HAVE A GO" Dons team out tonight. We need to play as well as we did against QPR last year, if not better.

GIVE IT A GO LADS

I hope so too. I expect a free flowing game with a lot of goals.... The crowd size seems a tad dissapointing at this stage. I would have thought this might have been a bit more attractive than the QPR match last season. According to sales as of last friday there was only about 6K sold and 2K of that was Sunderland. They have shut the standard corner too so they are obviously not expecting a huge crowd.
Anyway...cant wait for the game and lets hope we can get through and have another home game against one of the really big boys...COYD

6 or 7k will be disappointing - guess last year everyone expected we could actually create an upset. I expect us to in a good show - and with luck maybe overun a weakened Sunderland side
it will be a shame if there is not a decent crowd - this is a good fixture, seeing one of the better pshit teams

QPR have a lot of local fans and this was always going to be a big attendance, Sunderland is a long way away and not much local support.
Just hope we give a good account of ourselves both players and fans alike, COME ON YOU FANS

My guess is between 8 to 10k, although I think it will be a cracking game. 2-1 to the Dons.

In Milton Keynes it's not howay the lads. It's "GIVE A GO LADS"

Crowd was always expected, we wouldn't have got 19k if we'd played QPR on a Tuesday, it was a Saturday and an FA Cup game which brings in more fans. The Carling Cup is basically similar to the JPT in terms of excitment unless you get a big tie away.
Had this game been on a Saturday we'd have got a lot of fans in. It's not, and I expect a poor crowd. However as long as the cowshed's packed out I'm content

Just got home and mixed feelings about tonight.
The crowd was 10,400 so not too bad a turn out.
Dissapointed to have lost especially as they had 10 men for an hour.
They scored a great free kick which Gardener is known for, we havent got anyone who can do that.
McClean also scored a good goal.
But for us it was the same old story, pass pass pass but no end result.
There was no difference in the quality of football, just they were clinical with their two goals.
To be honest we werent really tested, but neither were they.
Lowe and McDonald were innefective again when they came on, and our lack of goals will be our undoing.
All the defence had good games, the midfield played well, just we havent got a cutting edge.

sums it up superd. We played well and were a good match for them. The difference was in their set pieces and finishing. Score line flatters them, but we were ineffective in front of
goal. All in all good game and happy to have gone out to a premiership team. We can concentrate on getting out of this league.

I not downhearted with the result, I thought like others we played well with the exception of the last third of the field. WE DO NOT HAVE ANY NATURAL FINISHERS any top team has a couple of players who know how to score. Until we get at least two (if not three) finishers we will be a good footballing side only.
