According to Physioroom, Smalling is back on 7th October and Jones and Young on 20th October.

Smalling is the one we need to get fit ASAP

Smalling is a good defender but WHY do we tend to over hype our players when they are injured for a while?

probably the same reason that people rubbish our players when playing

He's not getting hyped cos he's injured ?

I always liked him since we signed him, he's a very good defender.

I've been waxing lyrical about Smalling since he signed. Was wary judging him on his Fulham performances but I don't there is a betteer English defender his age in England.

I think Jones can also, long as we stop playing him in different position every time he plays.

As for comments above about medical staff it was knee jerk to my anger about vidic being out.

But it's a big concern how we keep getting all these injuries to key players.
