Confirmed this morning, Kiernon a centre back from Wigan and Swindon Town winger Luke Rooney.
I don't know anything of Kiernon but Martinez is giving him big chuck ups. Rooney was always a good young player, lets hope he can make a difference.
Welcome lads.

Thanks for the heads up on the news Burton Boy.
Quick, decisive moves for what I hope will be a couple of quality signings to cover for injuries.
Pleased to read we have scouting activity that is delivering players. If either of these turn out to be half as good as Anthony O'Connor we will be pleased.
If you recall Pesch brought in loan signings that were a mixed bag. There were more Serge Makofo calibre loanees than there were in the Tom Parkes mould.
This Burton Albion loanee research has made me late for work now. Best sign off and get to the office. All in a good cause though.

City had Kiernan on loan when he played for Watford. He struggled in this division and is best remembered for a flying header into his own goal!
Perhaps he's improved now he's a couple of years older.

After seeing Corbs, Taylor & Yussef on Tuesday I came away with one outcome, they are very poor compared to the rest of the players we have recruited in the summer so they must be released!
Seems as though Gary is realising this as he made a swift move to get a centre half in after the injuries to both Stanton & Holness, no way could we have played Corbs and shifted O'Connor to the centre, he got out muscled in the centre on Tuesday but to be fair he's a right back and a good one at that!

I'm sure i read Centre back is his preferred and normal postion ! Been to bed since i think i read that though !

My point was he's a far better right back than centre back, could do with a stone of muscle to be able to compete better...as for a full back he fits the bill very much in the mould of Scott Malone.
