Well i have to say friendly or not, this was against a brighton experienced team and brighton website give special mention to 3 spurs players as being " with substitute Soli, townsend and Kane impressing" ... excellent!!! Think i'd rather have this 16 year old than Robbie Keane if i'm honest

I honestly don't mean to offend anyone on here but have clearly rubbed people up the wrong way. I miss football and will take anything at the moment, I'm even going to watch the SPL opener on Saturday

Thanks for the update Spurcat. Bit disappointed to not see Townsend with the 1st team as well. I thought he was excellent last season on loan and for us in the FA Cup

The outcome may be Kane subconsciously raising the game.

Kane is not some hissy prima donna, he is a kid finding his way in the game. I think the age gap with Coulibaly etc will be good, and if they both stay the course, they will have played together sufficiently often to get that understanding that our best strike pairs so often forged (Crooks and Archibald, Sheringham and everyone etc) .
