http://www.givemefootball.com/premier-league/spurs-poised-for-african-striker-talks---reports-
Possibly one of the more vague articles I've ever seen, but actually seeing this rumour outside of surfing JA606 had kind of got my hopes up just the slightest bit.
Even on a season long loan if the wages can be sorted out would be great, so Levy can have even more bloody time trying to sign a permanent solution to our striker problem.
I bloody hope so...

I dislike the man - But would take him in a flash over our current striking options.
Hes a good Peter Crouch basically.

I can't see this happening, besides the last thing Spurs and 'Arry need right now is a character like Adebayor in the dressing room.
Madrid are the only club that will pay him anywhere near the wages he wants and I see him going there

Man City are just going to stockpile strikers so other teams can't score goals. What's the count - Jo, Bellamy, Adebayor, Dzeko, Balotelli, Santa Cruz, Tevez and Tchuimeni-Nimely with Aguero rumoured to be on the way!
All bar one of these are probably going to be on crazy wages and no other teams will be able to afford them.

Bad Luka - www.spursdatabase.com (U2326)
It's better to have more than need more.
Bellamy, Santa Cruz, Tevez and Adebayor all all likely to go with Aguero and possible one more striker coming into Eastlands.
The 25 man rule means these players will either have to take a pay cut or rot on the bench for the whole season, with the Euro's and a World Cup fast approaching I would be surprised if they were willing to see out their contracts and not take a pay cut.
Of all the out-of-favour City strikers there are, I would say Jo and Bellamy are much better options than Adebayor.
Once winter settles in, Adebayor won't be interested and will just be the lazy player he was at Arsenal, your squad simply cannot afford passengers this season.

Every where he goes, he has a good first season, then starts to moan. So a season long loan would be good, but don't buy him...
Mind you he is a Spurs Legend already for the goal celebration he did against Arsenal, when he ran the length of the pitch to rub it in their faces!
