De Gea

I am the only one who is becoming a little aggrieved that De Gea hasn't started the last couple of premier league matches? After the end of last season, i thought he was making real headway and i just assumed he would be our definite number 1. You could visibly see the improvement he was making last season.

To clarify, this is article is not designed to be derogatory to Lindegard who is a great goalkeeper. But, i just see so much more potential to De Gea and it's so frustrating to see him on the bench. The main problem with him is his lack of aerial threat which i understand is a problem. But this problem will never go away until he learns to deal with it. So i really think we should be playing him more often.

Last season, some of the saves that De Gea pulled off were extraordinary and i felt that he saved us a good 5-10 points. I have to say, however, Lindegard has failed to really excite me. Sure he is more reliable than De Gea, but he doesn't make those saves that turn games on there head like David does.

Please Fergie, play De Gea!!!
