......and about time too! I don't give a flying 'F' how we did it, but we did and that's all I care about 3pts in the bag job done (again).
We all know we have played far better in the games before this, in fact this was out worst performance so far yet we win the game and keep our first clean sheet which I am sure will please Nigel just as much as when we played Watford an Charlton off the park, plus Burnley last week without getting our rewards!
I love it love it love it when we win, away from home by 1 goal to nil keeping a clean sheet when we havnt played well. Because we have been on the wrong end of them many times already this season.
Bryson, what a man! Uuuuuuuu ramssss!!!
Winning ugly....

Agree Great to keep a clean sheet, Fielding was fantastic great save as well, I thought Will had a good second half, he was always avalilble to recieve the ball, he kept it simple, Bryson was my man of the match

I thought Keogh and Bucko were strong today. Forest fans are not happy with our Bucko...but Bucko did say we would not lose today. Will Hughes is class in that position he was in 2nd half. For 17 years old (just) he oozes class and plays it simply like a 30 year old!! Great ball in by Coutts and did you see how Bryson relaxed as he touched it home as if it was just a training goal. Bryson £400,000???? How much is that lad worth now?

It was a team performance really against a team that's been hastily assembled. It was a professional performance, the sort of job that has been done to us by clubs with settled line-ups and partnerships.
I'm not complaining about the manner of the result because the onus was on the home team. So many positives today, first clean sheet, away win and a second consecutive win at the CG. Only disappointment, the loss of Jamie Ward. I also thought Conor Sammon battled away well.

Yes Backo I did notice, his celebrations were one of a fan! Do not know which side you where behind the goal but after the game to left side as the players came over, Bryso was pointing that cow shed on the left and looking at us as if to say 'who are they, too easy' haha top lad he is!
Classic away performance wasn't it... Just what we needed and a reward for how well we have played in previous games without having enough points to show for it! You could see they were buzzing at the end and knew how much it meant to the fans.
Bucko and Keogh were outstanding! Those long balls from stoke ressies were a joke!
Oh and yes, hughesy was a touch of class 2nd half, calmed us down made them chase shadows and saw the game out. 17!?????

Lets not give them any excuses Bob, they have had plenty of time to gel, they're Shiite full stop.

Can I also put my vote in for Gareth Roberts - again (NO, we're NOT related) but that guy just continues to amaze me mainly because he doesn't amaze - he just 'does it' and we would be so poorer without him.....

Igor, I should have also added 'expensive' and a 'hastily assembled set of individuals'. Forest supposedly had the better players on paper, yet lacked the character to get back into the game. Our midfield is fairly young, but has energy, competitiveness and drive. Cox is the sort of natural finisher we could have done with but Sammon was the one who battled away.
There's more to getting a team to gel than simply throwing money at it and a number of flashy signings (Leicester, Cox's flops in the 90s).

Yep sheepy...with the likes of Hughes (who I think I could see through, at one point)...you've got it!

If I'm honest I don't like the term "winning ugly" we jad a game plan, stuck to it and did what was required.
3 Pts,
Beat the red dogs on home turf (again)
Clean sheet,
That equals a bloody good day at the office.
End of.

GR has improved a lot in the last 12 months. Then he was a bit of a liability, but now he's an asset.
We were brilliant today. A professional job against an improved Forest side. Reid is still a b*ll end.
Blackstock was an idiot all first half, Bucko did a great job on him. Even if it had been 11v 11, we'd still have won.
I'm so proud to be a supporter of the fantastic Derby County. Going to Boro on Wednesday and I can't wait.
