Juventus 1-1 Shakhtar today; Chelsea and Shakhtar top the group, with four points after two games. I guess it emphasizes the point that Shakhtar will not roll over for us when we face them. Furthermore, it makes it all the more sad that we couldn't hold the lead against Juventus, as we are a better team than Shakhtar, and are more capable of getting good results (their draw was arguably more impressive, since it was away).
That said, it would be great if Chelsea and Shakhtar can progress from the group!
Shakhtar may have done us a favour

Shakhtar are a top class team. I wouldn't be surprised if they qualified for the knockout stages.

We should be a better, more cohesive team by the time we face Juventus again.

Just seen shakhtar highlights,
Am really scared, going forward a real threat they will definitely open us up, if but with a killer blow, just like athletico

Shakhtar will be the ultimate test to check our static as Barca pretenders. One team will get played off the park in those matches.
They're more than capable of crumbling under pressure, which is one of the only reasons they've not made their mark in the CL yet, so the same model utilised against Arsenal should bring home the bacon. Though i can't think of another team who fail into the description of "underestimation will see us get humbled" better than him.

We will not win in Donetsk I'm absolutely certain, I'd fancy our chances in Turin more.
Today was significant as top spot is now back in our hands if we beat Shaktar at home and better Juve's result in Donetsk

Good point, Psychologist. Shakhtar are capable of getting goals against even tough defenses, but they can crumble in the later stages of a match, or when pressured (and to a greater extent, this "falling apart" tendency applies to Dynamo Kiev). It could be a stylistic, psychological, or stamina/training methods issue, but then again, maybe it comes from playing in a league where they are dominant, and have a match wrapped up by the late stages, so they cease to perceive a threat from their opponents at that point - a weakness to be exploited? Still, the consensus seems to be that they are not to be taken lightly, and the cautious approach is probably correct here...

We'll beat Shakhtar home & away.
