takeover rumours

Do you think that the takeover rumours is affecting the teams performance.

Can stop giving fooking early goals away too.

It comes down to whether or not our squad is adaptable or not. The Diamond shape we have been using recently fell down because Cranie was not at the back playing the Sweeper / Anchor position. I am sure Bobby is more than capable of playing there it's just that he has been out of the team recently and is not used to the way we play.

Peterborough did their homework, man-marked Mellis and dominated our centre backs aerially. We missed Foster and suddenly find ourselves in the strange scenario where we have gone from having too many centre halves to having none. Hopefully McNulty or even Edwards will be around for the Leeds game.

Am of the opinion Birmingham result was a complete fluke given the last 2 pathetic performances at home against Ips and Posh.

I'm of the opinion that you are a toss wipe...

Here comes Uboat the second with his optimistic opinions.

I thought we may have started slowly against Ipswich but we really improved throughout the game and should have picked up a win.

Takeover talks have been going on in the background since before the season started, only just been made public so that had nothing to do with Tuesday night.

Whilst not taking anything away from Peterborough who played really well, I do agree with Brighton that our personnel changes were partly behind our dip in performance - and in this league if our top-end performance dips we're always likely to be in trouble.

We missed Fozzie who's been excellent at c/b, filling the gap with Cranie meant the understanding with Wiseman wasn't there and we so missed Cranie in that key m/f role where he's been 'Rolls Royce'. Sir Bobby looked very one-dimensional and looked off the pace after his enforced lay off.

Still, that game's gone now but we've got a great fixture to bounce back in on Saturday. In this league it's clear you've got to expect the unexpected.

If we started slowly against Ipswich we must have been stationary against Peterborough. So much for the six easy points from two home games.

Only idiots like yourself think there's easy points to be had in this league.

Daresay that your fellow brain-deads in Brighton, Hull and Huddersfield thought the same about their "easy" two home games.

Uboat the second, since when did anyone say that it was going to be 6 easy points? I never look at a game and think "easy 3 points for us here today " as that is a really pig-headed and ignorant approach for any fan.

Most clubs in this league see our team on the fixture list and think exactly the same thing, believing that we should be a walkover (Little old Barnsley, punching above their weight again, relegation favourites for the umpteenth year in a row) .
