I agree with him totally, it is a big blow for us. Not the end of the world but a shame as he's a good player.
However, we all knew this would happen. So no suprise really. Who have we got to cover him, with his size and impact in midfield??
NO ONE!! Thats who.
Every single Arsenal fan called for cover, so we can all say "I told you so" and pat ourselves on the back again.
Not finger pointing, just stating the blooming obvious.
Wenger: "Diaby injury a major blow"

We all knew this would happen, we all spoke openly about our concerns over Diaby and our reliance on him this season, yet fobbed off again. On a plus side I think we'll cope fine, but we couldn't say that for certain before the season started. It just so happens we have started well.

Cazorla, Arteta, Ramsey/Coquelin.
I don't really see a problem with that midfield 3. Yes, it would be nice to have Diaby fit 100% of the time but don't act like he is our only midfielder. We still have Wilshere/Frimpong/Rosicky to come back into the fray during the season as well.

Who's Acting like he's our only midfielder?
He's our only midfield player with his attributes: The OP states this.

How long's he out for?

He got injured and is out for 3 weeks taking a shot
Ah Diaby. At least he provides some comical relief.

We were without him last season and had to deal with it. So we will be fine.

I agree with gunnerthru. We did not miss him last season and the seasons before. The only difference is that we did play with Song instead......
However, we should be fine this time, since there is the international break.

We will miss him; however, Wilshere is back. He is going to take Diaby's starting spot when back in form. So... Diaby will be just a sub for us no matter what.
