Smith, Caddis, Devera, Commazzi, Kennedy, Ritchie ,Risser, Ferry, Esajas, Connell, De Vita
Basically the same except different Striker and Goalkeeper. Also stupid spam filter stopped me doing its in a straight line..

Think it'll be the same starting eleven as yours, but think Di canio will put smith in instead of ferry. Don't necessarily agree with that but it seems smith carries more of a goal threat.

Smith, Caddis, Kennedy, Commazzi, Devera, Ritchie, Risser, Smith, Ferry, De vita, Connell. Think Ferry could be used out wide opposite Ritchie, only left Esajas out because of fitness levels and can see him and Ferry fighting it out this season for a starting place. Has Esajas definitely signed yet ? Plenty of potential goal threats this season, unlike last !

If we don't give Ferry a chance this season, I think that he might wonder about his future here.
IMO, we cannot afford to lose a player like him.
Notts, I think that the guy would be wasted played out wide.
He is the nearest to a "Ray McHale" that we have had for ages, & thats what we need.

I want Ferry to play more this year, but I just dont think he will...

Do you guys think we'll be playing 4-4-2? I think we might see something like 4-2-3-1 with Ferry or McCormack replacing De Vita, to play behind Connell.

Gollum, your probably right about Ferry being wasted out wide, I do think he could do a decent job anywhere in midfield though. Seems odd to me that with his talent he still may not get much game time and now with Mc Cormack looking set to sign it does make me wonder if
Simon will be released, I think we need to keep some what I would call fancy players like Ferry even though lots of people are saying we need rough and ready type players for division two.

If Ferry ain't playing v Crewe, & a new bloke is put in, what is the use of pre-season tours?
That's where we went wrong last season - won everything, then changed the side before the first real game.

I just get the feeling Ferry will be bench warming again this season. If this is the case we would probably be better off loaning him out, the same thing happened last season and because of that he was never going to be match fit. With no reserves this season how will the unused squad players stay as match fit as the regular starters ? Im hoping Ferry will be a regular starter though.

Ferry has proved himself at this level. The newcomers haven't yet.
Let them challenge for his position, not the other way round.
