We only get Shirt Refs.

OK before I start bit of a disclaimer I didn't got to today's game. I was out with the father in law (Swansea City fan) while our respective missuses were shopping. Anyway we got back in time for football focus, and I saw the scoreline at 1 - 0 and thought, 'well we've had a lot of success against Leeds over the past couple of years, Colin is doing a decent job, and it's a tough place to go'. But then I saw that they had been awarded a penalty and straight away, without even seeing it I knew what had happened. I knew it because time and time again I have seen so many important decisions go against us.

Against Blackburn Etuhu should've been sent off for his challenge on Stones, Against Brighton, Stones managed to be tripped and then kicked in the ribs by Bridge and received a yellow card for his troubles, we had a legit goal disallowed against Ipswich.

When will it stop?

Key thing is we've got to start converting more of the chances we're creating then the odd rubbish decision won't cost us so much.

We need to find someone that can contribute goals when Davies doesn't score, then we'd really be able to compete for points in this league.

I didn't go to or listen to the match either, but as others have said looking at the stats as well as the chances we missed on the football league show (Harewood and Mellis especially ) we should have been well out of sight by then anyway. It is disappointing that yet another key decision has gone against us. However I'm more concerned that in the last 3 games we have created chances that should have been buried by our forwards, if we keep missing opportunities we are going to get punished whether it is through the fault of an official, our defence, or a good move by the other team. We have a clinical finisher in Craig Davies but all the opportunities recently (bar Birmingham) seem to be falling to Dagnall and Harewood who can't buy a goal. Just imagine if Davies was put out for the season . We can compete in this division, we can create chances, we have managed to keep clean sheets against tough opposition, we just need to be more clinical.

As for the defeat yesterday, after repeatedly battering them the last few seasons, I suppose we can let them have their moment for once. It won't come around too often.

You're right. Just the return, and three more points at your dump (another dodgy pen will do), and then we'll never play you again

Glad to see you are magnanimous in taking your first points off us in 20-odd years Rob the k-nob.

Shows what a true fan you really are - our ground has been rebuilt over that time period - but you'd know that if you'd ever been, wouldn't you.

You will be playing us again for the next 20 years - we won't be going down and you'll never be good enough to go up so get used to it. Get yourself to the bookies and put a tenner on us being no more than 6 points apart come the end of the season.

Saturday was a blip, and we'll be back to fleecing you at Oakwell again. Massive club my 'arris - no wonder you're still so hated.

Thing is - just before the penalty we had a great shout for handball in the box which wasn't given! I don't see you mentioning that one going your way.

Swings and roundabouts - you get some and some you don't. Live with it!

We will play better and lose and you will play worse and win. That's footy for you.

I agree that most refs are pretty rubbish though

Lets be honest Robof,

It's not as if Leeds ever show up in the first place when playing the mighty Barnsley.

Never thought I would see the words 'mighty' and 'Barnsley' it the same sentence

Replace it with 'little' and it makes more sense
