In a nutshell. 29% of the possession tells you all you need to know about this game.
3 shots on target 1 being a pass back free kick from Maghoma.
What has happened to Billy Key.
Injured or what?
Sat on the bench all game whilst waste of space Richards was on the pitch.
At least Patterson can control s a ball and run with it.
He ended up being replaced by Yussef, another waste of space.
Neither Yussef or Richards have any ball control skills whatsoever and neither showed and sign of effort.
The defence at least earned there wages and another clean sheet.
Very poor flat performance but at the end of the day we got a point which most would have been happy with before kickoff.
Just hope we recover our form for saturday.

Overall I think you're going well. Unbeaten in the League for seven games with 15 points gained. Clean sheets for the last two games, both away. In the play-off places. These stats suggest a successful team. Compared with the despair I was reading when Pesch had lost the plot this is good stuff!

Now just go and stuff the Gas for me on Saturday!

Emnez my friend.
I've taken into account what Richards achieved when he first played for us but since he came back from injury after christmas he hasn't had one decent game let alone scored many goals..
I know he had to suffer the loss of his mother.
Maybe thats still a problem as i'm sure it would be for most.
What annoys me about him is his total lack of effort in games.
Centre halves have a very easy time playing against him.

Thought it was a terrible game of football on Saturday! Shocking from both sides, however, we kept a clean sheet even if it meant all the strikers defending for most of the game as well!

God how we miss the presence of Zola - his presence allows players such as Mags, Pato and Kee to play off him and get into far more dangerous positions. He is key to our keeping this run going - fingers crossed he is back for Saturday.

Richards I agree hasn't been the same player but I'm in the 'got to keep him' club. He's expereinced and on his game a handful for anyone. For me it is Adi who has to go out on loan - if anyone. Adi has shown a lack of composure and a tendancy to do stupid things - such as the elbow on Saturday - very lucky boy to stay on the park.

I believe that GR will continue to bring in the odd player as required, I agree that Kiernon looked much, much better against Morecambe and could be an asset. Rooney looks like a big time charlie to me who needs to be less greedy and start being part of the 'team'.

Cannot fault the effort of the lads and the managment, lets keep this run rolling along.

Up the Brewers

Hi guys, sorry ive not done much posting but have been away . Read all your comments and have to agree on most ,but lets take a step back ,who would have said we would be in a play off slot after ten games! .I go back to a comment i made a few weeks ago , when i said this current squad is the best we have ever had whilst i have been an albion fan going back more years than i care to mention . The defence has been outstanding this season ,our midfield strong ,and when Kee is fit partnering Zola up front i would fancy us against the best in this league . All Garys signings have , by and large been good this season , and the squad in general is very strong . I would like to see Webster given a few more games maybe as an attacking midfield player behind the front two as we all know he can chip in with useful goals .As for Richards, he isnt the player he was but maybe he needs the confidence of a few goals ,Yussef in my opinion shouldnt have been re-signed and should go out on loan along with one of the keepers currently sitting things out ,on the proviso they could come back if needed, and Phillips and Magrath also should go out on loan when fit . We have an outside chance this season of being the surprise package and at least getting a play off slot . Keep up the faith .

Agree terraceman, Stuart's comments are bang on.

Never a dull moment as a brewers supporter, fingers crossed we can keep this run going...until May!

We haven't seen the best of Robbie Weir yet either.

What worries me is that Jimmy will be back soon.

When he returns maybe Jimmy will be that player who was very good in his first 10 games for us all those years ago. Maybe playing in an attacking formation might suit him and his confidence.

Thanks for your kind comments guys to my article , us Albion fans are almost unique on here in comparrison to other league two sides for some unknown reason , i personally think its great to be able to speak to other fans associated with your team on here , and exchange thoughts and views on various games and formations etc, hopefully without critisising individual players too much . This season up to now, has been great, as we are all happy with our team and its performances in general . What a contrast to the last two seasons when it was all doom and gloom ,looking over your shoulder at what sides were below us etc . Looking ahead at our fixtures over the next few weeks though is a bit scary with Gillingham away and Port Vale at home , but i guess we will be able to guage our progress in those two matches .

Otep, interesting comment about Jimmy being back soon, it worries me too! Do not believe he will just walk back into the side either with the current level or play we are seeing.

That said, if he learns to be a team player and stops being a greedy so and so then maybe our attacking style of play could suit him. GR said this morning that he could be two or ten weeks away from getting back, so I think it will be a little while before we see him play again.

I hope that Jimmy returns sooner rather than later. As with many other players in the previous 3 seasons I believe we need to reserve judgement and see how he does under GR's regime. In the early part of the 2009/10 season I thought he was an exciting prospect. When he scored that goal at Grimsby it reminded me of one of Theo Walcotts goals against Croatia.

We can only speculate as to what happened after that.
Wishing you a speedy recovery Jimmy.
