I have only seen it on the link above. I think this is the reason there won't be retrospective bans for diving. Give me stick if you like but what do you expect him to do? Keep on his normal trajectory and get wiped out by Guzan? When running at his pace that's extremely high-impact and could result in a serious injury.

As I said, have only seen the link so if after he's rolling about on the floor then fair enough book him but if he jumps out the way and gets up then its not a foul but not a dive either, I don't think it always has to be one or the other

I agree it looked awful and I can fully understand people getting upset.....I will say one thing in his defence and that's that he spent so much time on the treatment table when he was a bit younger a couple of years back , people like Phil Neville crucified him .....Perhaps he's just had enough of being badly hurt by inferior players whose only way of stopping him is to clatter him..........

He didnt try to gain an advantage by rolling around and clutching his leg if he did that then ban him
