He will surely now be given a run upfront. Im sorry, but Gervinho just doesn't do it for me. He is a winger, and that's it. I know he's scored a few goals, but no. Not for me.
Whereas, Theo has all you need to be a fantastic striker. A Michael Owen type (when he was good) He has unbelievable pace, fantastic movement and a really good finish.
What he doesn't have, is what is needed to be a winger. He can't do anything other then what ive stated he can do. He cant dribble, he can't pass, he can't cross the ball (He can, but its once every 20) and he has zero awareness.
But when he's on that last defender, and we have players like we do who can put that pass through, he could be fantastic. Alot better then Gervinho anyway.

Most CB pairings would be very happy to see Theo up top on his own.
I don't really see why he is complaining. All of his recent goals have come from him getting between the full back and cb, not the two cbs. And a front 3 of gervinho, pod and theo allows all of them to interchange. He gets time to play centrally.

Theos position isn't a winger it's the right side of a front three. Unless we change tactics to suit him don't expect Theo to play many games centrally for us!
