during yesterdays raw (which i thought was a very good episode), cm punk escaped into the crowd, where it seemed like a fan pushed him numerous times, cm punk reacted and hit him twice, before security arrived, during vince's promo speech. Will be interesting to see what happens about this.

not sure if it was worked or not? Vince stopped momentarily and then just carried on, so I am guessing not. Pretty unprofessional of Punk if that is the case

A local news agency in Sacremento talked to the innocent guy who got hit by Punk, he is filing a police complaint. The guy who actually slapped Punk in the back of the head tweeted him. Dear oh dear...

Just seen it, freckin hilarious. Funny how it's the most believeable thing his current heel persona has done so far
It's the second strike that'll land him in hot water if it wasn't a work. And what a shame the WWE will ignore all the circumstances and leap straight to stripping him of the title and suspending him the moment it draws questionable publicity to their brand. The WWE has always adopted the expendable soldiers strategy to it's superstars whenever they're in need of support.

I doubt they would make any reprimand public, to the point where they won't even want to imply it, so if Punk was scheduled to win at HITC, I don't expect that to change.
If they made it public, it would seem odd for Punk to never mention it, which he wouldn't be allowed to do, so I think he will just get a very stern talking to from Vince, who saw the whole thing of course, so may even have some sympathy for Punk, depending on what happened.

WWE just issued a statement:
During last night’s Raw televised event, WWE Superstar CM Punk exited the ring into the stands as part of the show. WWE security was unfortunately not in the appropriate place at the time. Given CM Punk’s persona as a ‘bad guy,’ fans were naturally heckling him, but unfortunately a few fans began shoving him and one struck in him in the kidney and on the back. WWE regrets that proper security measures were not in place, and CM Punk apologizes for reacting in the heat of the moment. Other than this isolated incident, WWE always provides proper security to ensure the safety of our fans and our performers.
