Im afraid that in todays society it is now time for a review! We have had heinous crimes too many to mention! 9/11, 7/7, Mr Saville, Mr Glitter, the guy that killed the cops the other week, the guy charged with Aprils murder to name but a few! I really feel though that the overwhelming concensus will be for a return to capital punishment when Mr Lennon feels he can use his mobile whilst driving

I have doubts about capital punishment,but if someone took and murdered my daughter,I would come after them.
Where that encounter ended,I do not know.
There are plenty of nutters not put off by the death penalty in the US,but overtly liberal punishment is also a weakness.
There must be a happy medium between the Taliban shooting a 14 yr old in the head this week,for her views,and a society where evil men and women exploit our liberal society,and laugh at our judicial system.
Evil people need to be locked away for their whole sorry lives,as their poison must not be spread amongst us.
Killing them is not the answer,tempting as it may feel on occasion.

A jury would be hard pushed if they had to vote for death,rather than prison,so it may backfire.
Folk going to hangings etc.always freaked me out.
Read a book ya sad bassa's.
