Straight swap Bendtner for Heitinga!?

I dont see anyone paying 10m for Bendtner, we might as well have a straight swap with Heitinga...

The Dutchman is a competent CB and will be a perfect cover for Song with his ability to operate as a DM in a 4-1-2-3 formation.

What do you think?

For the record though, I've been a strong advocate of us buying Heitinga for a while. He'd fit into our squad perfectly and would be the ideal CB/DM cover that we need.

I think we'd be VERY lucky to get him for the bargain price of 1 Nicklas Bendtner though!

Everton paid 5m for Heitinga, i believe they will be happy to get an international striker in Bendtner.

I believe Bendtner will be improved by Moyes. Regular games through the middle and better services will see the Dane fly for the blues.

Would be a good idea. I have been saying to sign Heitinga for quite a while. But if we were to do a swap deal with Everton I'd try cash + Bendtner for Baines.

I rate Bendtner more than most gooners so think he can do well. He needs a full season playing first team football though, which will make or break him.
