My ratings:

Schmeichel: 6 - Performances so far haven't matched his talent.
De Laet: 7 - Looks quite good to me but does keep getting injured.
Moore: 6 - Some good matches, some bad matches, but this is all vital experience and he'll learn from this.
Konchesky: 7 - Slow start but is improving.
St. Ledger: 7 - Was starting to form an effective partnership but has also been unlucky with injuries.
Morgan: 9 - Absolute frickin' rock.
Whitbread: 5 - Still short of match practise, but he'll get his chance now and we'll see how he comes on.
James: 6 - Improving and a fine player to have in the team, unfortunate in that two other centre mids are doing better.
Drinkwater: 8 - Settling into a vital role at the heart of the team.
King: 8 - As good as ever, looks like the style of play suits him. Will hope to stay injury-free.
Marshall: 6 - Not the player he was last season; rumoured to be having a tough time in his private life at present so it's almost certainly a waiting game.
Danns: 3 - When he has played he's been very poor.
Knockaert: 9 - Has lit up the team and the fans. Long may it continue!
Dyer: 6 - Lloyd does what he does without a fuss.Useful.
Waghorn: 5 - Looking much better than last season but hasn't been seen much and lack of first team goals remains a problem.
Schlupp: 5 - A few overrated fill-in jobs aren't enough to help his development. Could probably do with a loan to League 1.
Vardy: 6 - Has scored goals, despite missing a lot. His energy has been very useful and he's earned his retention in the team because of it.
Futacs: 5 - One class goal, but question marks over his touch and we're not seeing much of him.
Beckford: 4 - Probably won't be seen in a Leicester shirt again and his cameo against Blackpool could have cost us vital points.
Nugent: 8 - Slow start, but has ended up with 5 league goals from the first ten games when he hasn't started them all. An important member of the team.

I would also give big Wes player of the season so far, but Knockaert and Drinkwater are high up there too.

I'd agree with that Dunge.

The thing with Wes is that i genuinely haven't seen him have a bad game yet this season.

He was the reason why the Huddersfield attack were so quiet last week as he was first to everything and he wins everything in the air. He appears to be a very good mentor for Liam Moore.

Knockaert and Drinkwater haven't been outstanding in every game, where as i believe Wes has

Hi, Im a Wednesday fan. I dont really have a huge amount of interest in your team to be honest but I just wanted to know what it was like to comment about a team that actually knows how to defend.

You said that Morgan has been your best player and a major reason why your defence is so good this season. I bet its great not watching your keep get the ball out of his net every ten minutes isnt it.

ahhh.....oh well....Il go home to the Wednesday board now to discuss how Martin Taylor is the worst defender in footballing history. Thanks for having, best of luck. You're manager is a legend!

Thanks Poite.
It's nice to have a fan from a Yorkshire team come on and have a sensible debate (I'm talking about the team in white).
Wes has been more than solid, it was where we were lacking last season and it's the way to build.
Old cliche but if don't concede you've got a point at least.
He was forging a great partnership with SSL until the latter got injured.
Best of luck to you this season, except when you play us of course.

How's Ben Marshall doing? I see the poster has said 7.5 which seems decent. He was unreal for us. Can we have him back please?

I think Morgan is a sensible choice for player of the season. I always give the players a rating for every game that I watch and I don't have much between Drinkwater, Morgan and Nugent at the moment.

The reason for this is the performance by Nugent and Drinkwater have been scewed by some outstanding performances (like Nugent's hat trick) whereas Morgan has just been Mr. Consistent. I didn't rate Knockaert too highly in his early games, but he's obviously had some big performances as a starter.

Poite,

Ben Marshall started the season well and I thought he might be our most important player this season. His performances have dipped since Knockaert came into the side and he's suddenly not the main man anymore for set pieces etc. BM is quality and I'm sure that his dip in form is only temporary.

woah steady on we are only 10 games in to the season lol. seriously though I take your point, he will def be a contender by the end of the season

Good to hear BM is doing ok. If his performances continue you drop you could always loan him to us. He'd still be better than anything we currently have

Ok, I guess I should have added that this was a judgement at this point in time. I don't want him coasting for the next 36 games.

I liked to think each player should be at least a 7 considering our table position? It's been a great TEAM effort rather than individuals. But saying all that Morgan and Drinkwater have been outstanding in my opinion and deserve a 9! But the 10 goes to Pearson considering the questioning he has received from a lot of fans and the media....
