I hold X but my players don't go anywhere near the opposition players, really annoying. I played fifa 11 but not 12. Is this a new way of defending? if its then its crap.
BTW Luiz and Hazard are really good in this game.

X was rubbish, just made your players zoom to the ball like missiles. Never used it and hated playing against it. 12 and 13's contain isn't much better, but if they got rid of it and used manual jockeying it would be perfet for the attackers and defenders.

Go to settings and change tackling from " Tactical Defending " to " Legacy Defending " and you get fifa 11 tackling, thats what i do. That tactical stuff is fkin crap

Be warned you can only play online unraked matches e.g custom, head-to-head. Or vs friends, or 2v2 matches / lobby matches.
On head-to-head season you have to use tactical
