I hate how pro-united the media are. All I've heard since the San Marino game is that Rooney should be England captain, Rooney is amazing etc. The last time I checked, Steven Gerrard was the England captain and will be for at least another couple of years so why are they even talking of his successor? Is it any coincidence they want Rooney, a Man Utd player, to be England captain who, in my opinion, has never performed well for England.

I think the armband should be given to either Rooney, Welbeck, Young, Carrick, Smalling or Jones.
No one else is worthy IMO.
