Somewhat confused?

Is it lazy journalism or just boredom that fuels the Holloway stories?

More than two weeks AK(after Kean) and we are told there is a shortlist of "quality" managers interested in the vacancy at Ewood.

Why then, speculation re: managers we would "like" to approach?

Surely we will be spending our time interviewing and poring over the CV's of said applicants...

Get on with it please.

Agreed. Every game with Black damages our promotion prospects.

Agreed Two Weeks and no sign of a manager why do i get the impression we will still be saying it at xmas

If you lads dont know the Venkies and how they opperate by now, well, you never will,,they will give Black his chance or that is what they say it will be,if any owners could keep faith with Steve Kean as long as they did then expect NOTHING<certainly no well respected, experienced manager that is the lsat tpe of person they would take on board at Ewood,,they have to GO before any further progress can be made at our club, and i say our club in the loosest term possible,we continue with the pathetic running of a once great football club.

I disagree that Black will be given the job. They have had two or three weeks to make that easy call already. Why delay if he was getting the job?

That was the basis of my article(few lines )

Unless all supposed applicants are not the "quality" stated and if Sherwood and Holloway aren't applicants, why are they even mentioned?

If EB is the best candidate, we can only conclude that the "quality" of the applicants list was somewhat overstated.

As regards being duped again, I can only offer the football followers ever flowering optimism as the cause.
That and the fact, that if we don't start believing soon....there is no hope

What i am saying is that Black will nOT be given the managers job officially,he will however be a caretaker type manager for quite a while to come, this is how i see how the Venkies opperate,as stated previously any owners who allow a guy like S Kean to resigne meaning THEY would not have sacked him, says everything to me,and if your eyes are open you should see that whilt these owners stay owners there is no real hope,i accept i could be wrong here becuse they did throw a spanner into my thinking with the purchase of Rhodes, but i do not hold much faith in them, and the evidence for this lack of faith speaks for itself, however i am still a Rovers fan and i will still go to games.

You mentioned Mr Rhodes Rover blue, I feel he may well be missing out coming to Ewood now, he is a young player who needs managing more now than he ever will in his career, If he is to blossom he needs the right person to help him achieve his targets, so that spanner you have mentioned may well be a rusty worn out one. Venky's may well of been coned out of more money by Kean and co.
I cant see Rovers getting automatic promotion, or promotion at all this season, I cant see the team being united as one, (they looked very bad against Wolves) I cant see young Rhodes banging in to many goals with the wrong management directing him, I cant see the crowds back at Ewood for a long time. Kean has stiched us up, Venky's are idiots and Shebby is full of ****. The problems have only become clearer now Kean has gone.
I feel another long, hard boring season ahead of us again.

Well as a fan who has seen every game we have played so far this season barring Bristol away,i say that the problems have been there from the start,at Ipswich who are now in the bottom 3 we was given a hard time to keep the game to a draw, then Hull,Leicester and Barnsley at home were extreemly lucky wins after being out played in all 2 games for the majority of those games,Leeds away glaring example of not only poor management but also lack of leadership of any kind on the field ,we should not have lost the lead to get a draw,Boro and Wolves both showed us up for the very poor bottom half side we are,,we can see this,,yet our owners cant or dont want to see this,as i said before anyone who could have seen any reason what so ever in keeping S Kean as manager should not be in football..sadly like you i feel we are in for a long and disapointing season and for me the jury is still out on as you put it Mr Rhodes.
