to finally tackle the problem of racism in football has presented itself.
After the disgrace of the England U21 game against Serbia, surely this time FIFA can not afford to fudge this issue can they?
FIFA - Yet another chance for them

I know, i was tongue in cheek, having said that though on our debate over JT you have been spot on and I have been so far totally wrong in how I predicted events panning out.
Only an appeal by JT will give me a glimmer of hope that i still may be proven right, but it looks unlikely now.

Celtic Bhoy, perhaps you're right. But then taking it to a more realistic point...Japan are more likely to win the European Championships than Scotland qualifying for them

Biggish, I stated on here the day after the JT court verdict the FA would 'need' to take action if only to justify the Dislodging of Capello, the Stripping of the England captaincy. The delay was cos as much as they say "courts" the FA knew JT was the best we had going into an International Competition.
An appeal from JT would serve no purpose except for him to be fresh for the Champions League.
The case reminds me of when "old slacky" was accused of shooting Speckled Jim

what is the difference between this and terry

Conclusive evidence for a start, plus the allegations agst Terry unproven in a court of law are nowhere near as bad as what we all witnessed in Serbia without any degree of doub as to what was happening.
