Should we give Megson some credit?

Megson wouldn't even be a good chief scout, you know who would be? No who actually is! Our Chief scout and the scouting network, Megson made some good signings but the players were identified to him. Coyle has made great signings so far, unfortunately Agnetha your opinion is void

it was i think CHRIS EVANS ? mugsons assisstant who was in charge of transfers,he found the players, mugson could not get them to play for him, we offered him the chance to stay at the reebok when mugson left,but he was loyal to the muppett and declined,shame we did not try harder,imo as i rated the guy

Chris Evans got us Mark Davies - the rest of the scouting network identified the other players (think one of them has written a book about it). But there's no point getting good players in if you cannot manage them properly - Oh and Coyle made the Robinson signing permanent so we coud get Wilshere & Weiss and signed Klasnic permanently something the ginger mess was humming and ahhhing about.

Some strange replies. But I`m looking forward to see who Coyle signs. Let`s hope a 20 goal a season striker.

Its all about what players were meant to do.

For example; Elmander was brought in as a replacement for Anelka, did he replace him? no he didn't.

Weiss on the other hand was brought in to cover Lee if he got too tired, did he do that? yes he did.

Eaves and Alonso are youth players so can't really be judged over one season.

Also, I like Mavies but has he really been that successful? not yet but I'm sure with an injury free run, he can become a key player for us.

Megson made great signings due to his rapport he built up with our chief scout Colin Harvey and his roamings
around Britain.

Brian Marwood who is now Citys' "footballing administrator" is his best buddy and we may miss that connection & the owls will benefit.

Gartside is very shrewd and will have jumped on this bandwaggon.

I personally didn't have any issue for her defence of the indefendable - she is entitled to her opinion after all.

This issue was debated to death about a year to a year and a half ago, it simply has no relevance now. HWSNBNA is long long gone Coyle is here and doing a great job. How does it matter what the clown did now, yes some good players were signed during his tenure but he never got the best out of them. There is no reason to even mention his name. So stop trying to irritate people and if you have to, debate about relevant things, like will we sign a new striker?
