....should be Craig Brown.
Go on, argue against it.
There's no argument against it and you know it. I'll shoot down any argument you can give.
Craigy Broon would get us back to our former glories where our only glorious failures were in group stages of major competitions, not in qualifying groups.
Pa Broon, your country needs you!

Not just Redknapp mate, but there are plenty others out there who would do a far better job than that wee ginger fud

I'm not convinced Levein will be sacked but I'll be furious if he's not.
As Macedonia did us a favour, we're still in the mix for 3rd. I could see the SFA holding off til he messes up in March.
I mean, why try and salvage the campaign now when CL can completely kill it in 2 or 3 more games??? They held off with Burley and allowed him to embarrass us in Wales, they may hold off with CL and allow him to embarrass us in March unfortunately.

You only get one chance in these group games so every game is a must win game, be it against San Marino or Spain. That's the attitude that should be instilled.
When does Levein come to the conclusion that a game is a must win he's a joke
Nor am I AK, comes down to money aswell, they would have to pay all the current staff off and money is very tight in Scottish football right now. I can see him staying til the end of this campaign.

One thing's for sure, if the SFA do sack him next week, we won't see a replacement til Febuary.

I think Owen Coyle would be a decent shout.
His players seem to like him and want to work hard for him. Just look at Fabrice Muamba's reaction to his sacking.
He has been succesful everywhere he's been. It went downhill at the end for Bolton but he did a lot of good there as well.
I wouldn't imagine Smith would take it. McLeish probably would but would be off again if another offer came in. So would Redknapp.
Brown, hmm maybe but people will expect too much since he was the last manager to get us qualified but he had far better players then.
Whoever it is we don't have the players at present to qualify, it's that simple. Even if by some miracle we fluked a qualification it would only paper over the cracks. The job will be to stay as high up the rankings as possible in the hope youngsters will eventually come through.
Our game is seriously stagnated at grass roots level. Until we modernise our youth development the senior team will remain completely inept at the most basic skills.
