Hi all, 1st time on this morning since before the match last night. Regular poster to the Leeds United board and have followed them since their league win in the early 90's.
But last nights actions has me ashamed and disgusted. I have never seen anything like it in all my years and wouldn't wish it to happen on my worst enemy.
That vile animal (who in my eyes is no Leeds fan) has to be brought to justice and has once again brought shame to our club.
If I were the police I would drop him off outside the next home game at Hillsborough with a sign explaining exactly what he's done.
For him, I apologise to Sheffield Wednesday fans and players and to the whole football world.
For every one ignorant vile moron that drags our club through the mud - there are 10,000 that love our club and our football and wouldnt do anything to harm another human regardless.
Again...SORRY!
Again...SORRY!

It's more than 1 in 10,000, we must have had 2-300 chanting Turkey stabbing songs, there's a lot chanting peadofile songs in the Leeds end, bottles and chairs broken. A whole load of fans shouting at Kirkland when he kicked the ball, after he'd been attacked! I don't understand.
I'm going off football. A breeding ground for idiots to group together and be vile. I certainly don't want to go to another Leeds game!

Sorry mate but the "lone idiot" theory won't wash. For historical reasons Leeds has become a destination for hoolitourists like this specimen from Cheltenham. Leeds has far more of its fair share of these guys and they are especially likely to turn out for an away game against a club with whom there is some history.
The people in charge at Leeds have not done enough to eradicate these leeches from your club and until they are properly dealt with your reputation will remain exactly as it is now.
Another excuse that won't wash is "other clubs have idiots too". If you are an alcoholic you can't turn round and look at somebody else having a drink and think that means you don't have a problem.
Come on Leeds United, get a grip of yourselves and draw attention to yourselves for the right reasons, root these people out of your club once and for all.

Mike I completely agree but as the club, what would you do differently. We ban more people than anyother club. You cannot purchase away tickets from the club when you're banned. We have membership ID which is checked on the door to make sure the person who bought the ticket is the one getting in although this wasn't done last night.
Leeds United and it's fans wants this to stop more than anyone but it is tough to eradicate. Once again 1% of both teams fans ruin it for 99%

Methinks at Leeds for every 'one ignorant vile moron that drags our club through the mud' there are 20 or 30 that 'love their club and our football and wouldnt do anything to harm another human regardless' not 10000. plenty singing vile songs, plenty of racists, plenty of chest thumping neandarthols. The fact that Leeds' decent support think its 'only a few' is part of the problem. ye right!

It makes you wonder if thugs like the one the other night just turn up for Leeds games due to the amount of trouble caused in the past, knowing that hey will get a fight, for people like him its an excuse to carry out acts like this and sadly it has given clubs like leeds a reputation for this kind of thing, they have NO interest in football or the team they "support", like I said its an excuse to cause trouble and perversly get a kick from it and a kick out of ruining it for genuine supporters
