As a Leeds fan I would like to apologise to everybody involved in football it would appear we have shamed not only Leeds utd but the hole of English football but this is just one person and not the hole of Leeds fans you may not believe this but most Leeds fans are genuine fans they love the game they love Leeds utd I along with many other Leeds fans hope above hope that this sick individual is brought to justice and is given a jail sentence.
At Leeds we have a membership scheme only members can purchase away tickets like other clubs when we get to the ground we should have our membership checked which never happens which could allow anybody into the ground hens we get in the ground we take the abuse from the home fans but yes we give it as well unfortunately this is a part of football whether we like it or not this happens every day at football stadium all over the country take this away from football and you may as well sit in silence surely this would make no atmosphere in the stadium banter in football should always be there how do you restrict when is banter when it becomes too much I don’t know I don’t have the answers but it is something that that needs to be looked at As for the attack on Kirkland do we hold the club responsible I don’t think we can, this must be down to the stewards at Hillsborough for not checking the memberships as fans enter the ground.
I sometimes think that the FA and the football leagues and clubs get a little above them self’s sometimes i think speaking to the genuine football fans and working together would help in other word the authorities and football fans sitting down around a table and talking we are all humans there are times when it looks more like a cattle market in some football stadiums rather than people attending a football match we could be treated a little better.
I know I will get slated on here but when I sit at home thinking about it something needs to be said action needs to be taken. I would just like to repeat I really hope that the sick individual who attacked Kirkland gets his comeuppance

"Not quite - anyone could have bought that ticket and let him have it. "
Not quite anyone - only a Leeds fan. A Leeds fan who should also be banned for life.

But the Leeds fan may have sold him a ticket without realising he was banned. I have sold a spare ticket to a guy I didn't know before. But, if he was banned, he wouldn't have got in if the stewards had been checking membership cards off against tickets. It takes about a second but they neglected it and he got in. The system is already in place to stop these people and 90% of clubs addear to it and so see no trouble

So, you and your bias little lump you carry around with you must be in a lot of pain, I hope its untreatable just to keep you in your miserable little world you seem to live in!.
As for what happened last night, you can bet that that guy will not be the fun of the party when they round him up, and a life time ban will not go amiss, if he got his ticket himselfe then nobody else will be in the same boat, but if not then I hope the boat sinks and drags whoever down with him!..

Funny how the Leeds fans say it was just one fan. No it wasn't, loads were jumping over the advertising boards. Loads of you cheered when the moron hit Kirkland.
Only answer is to ban All Leeds fans from away games. You lot might be better if it ever happens again then. Shocking that you let the nutter hide from the police amongst you

Not sure about the '90% of clubs adhere to the system' bit, Leicester exile. Most clubs don't actually have a system where you have to show a membership card along with your ticket to gain entry - that probably only applies to clubs supported by thugs.

I have been to almost all of the teams in the Championship and Premier League away with Leeds and 90% is about right. The clubs may not have a membership system themselves but they almost all use ours

I think you'll find the jumping and celebrating was for scoring a goal. I wasn't there but the TV cameras were folloing the players and missed it happen too. It was the extra cameras that caught it. So why should celebrating fans? But don't let facts get in the way of your attacks.
I've been to hundreds of games and the only place I've ever been attacked was at Hillsborough and the only other places I've ever been in danger were at West Ham and Derby when it was the baseball ground.
You don't need to run into a mob, just one thug from a club is enough in the right circumstances.
So lets ban everyone from all games and watch on tv.

Its great seeing all the peolpe here saying about the "THUG", and yes, believe it or not but Leeds United fc, Leeds United fans, and people that help your mothers to cross the road all know it was a "THUG" that did it, but funny, the "THUG" that did this is no different to any "THUG" that goes to any ground in the country!..
How many of the wimps shouting off on here at the fans for not stopping this "THUG" would have been "MAN" enough to do the same if it'd been a "THUG" from their team doing the same thing?..
And yes, your fans at the heat of the moment would have cheered him on and they would have done anything to stop the Police from getting him!..
People should just realize that what the idiot did was a dumb mans suicide, because as soon as he stepped over that line he was on camara, and whatever had been the Police had him one way or the other!..
If he was nutty enough to do what he did what's to say he wouldn't be nutty enough to kill anyone that stood in his way?..
Let the Police sort it the way it should be, the crime will be punnished, the thing is Leeds fans will be made to take the blame again and the club will suffer at the same time!..
