Football anyone?

Right let's put Friday behind us.

We were very poor last night, the worst performance I have seen this season although I didn't go to Blackpool. Becchio was well below par and Austin was obviously not up to his usual standard. Pearce was also very dissapointing.

I reckon Hall in for Austin and a kick up the backside from Warnock in training this week.

Teams for Tuesday night?

Need a big revamp. My side would be

-----------------------------Kenny

Byram---------Pearce------Kisnorbo--------Drury

Hall-------------Green---------Norris--------White

------------------Gray-------Diouf

Byram should be nowhere near the first team, utterly out of his depth I'm afraid, got skinned every time!

No team in the Championship are easy to beat.
The Charlton game will be just as difficult.

There are no easy games but I agree about resting Austin. He looked knackered last night

Agree with the 2 comments above about no easy games, don't think it is wise to underestimate a team that won 2-0 away at Blackpool.

Charlton will not be a pushover, but let's concentrate on our strengths and not worry about theirs.

We are Leeds United.

We are proud of that fact.

"Charlton should be easy to beat." .. oh ffs, when will we ever learn? PLEASE don't tempt fate like this .. there ARE easy games, in this division, but you NEVER know which until the 80th minute at least!

756...

that "Charlton should be easy to beat..." comment came from the latest incarnation of "Homebase Boy"...notice he left Becchio out of his team for Tuesday...though perhaps on this occasion he's right to do so, as well as Austin who was probably suffering from his recent travels last night.

Becchio was poor last night but he often looks poor when the whole team plays poorly. Becchio is not a technically gifted player but he is an incredible finisher. I wouldn't leave him out unless he goes a significant period without scoring. Who would replace his goals? If McCormack was fully fit then maybe
