I'm usually a positive guy but that performance was embarrassing, it had no fighting spirit, no toughness, we folded.
There was nothing to be positive about, sadly. I hate to make this point but we went one-nil down last time to Norwich, and the difference?
Robin van Persie.
I'm a fan of Giroud, but until we get a top class forward we can forget a title challenge. Giroud just doesn't quite cut it I think and Gervinho, the less said the better. A new striker is a must, a quality striker is a must. If we can't score against Norwich, who have the worst defence in the league, then how do we expect to depose the Manchester clubs who have a formidable armoury of attacking talent.
Unfortunately I don't think the name 'Arsenal' is particularly apt at the moment. Big improvements are needed if we want to challenge. I thought we were on a similar level to Chelsea but quite clearly this is not the case.
It's just a bit depressing.
Nowhere to hide.

As I said, I like Giroud. But he needs to score goals. No excuses.
To clarify, I am not Wenger out, and I'd like to know ahat alternatives the WOB are suggesting.

From what should he have scored? We didnt provide anything.
And Merte I say it again. Its true that van Pumps scored a few goals last season. Without his goals we werent even play CL football this. season.
Fact is that we played the same shiiiit with van Pumps too where we got frustrated after came up with games like tis. I remember when we were frustrated with van Pumps for his poor performances. On the other note. Did we win a trophy with van Pumps?

Giroud should have been bought as a replacement for Park, he was never going to be good enough to replace RVP.

Poor comment this.

Yep, a few touches of quality and a striker makes space for himself and scores. We need a player who can turn nothing into a goal for when we are playing badly and we don't have one.

Its not about one player. Its about the team that couldnt change anything when playing bad.

It shouldn't be like that gunnerthru but in some of these games you need a player like that because you can't expect to play perfectly every game for the entire season
These are the games that make or break your season and we need to grind them out as a team when it gets difficult and a player who will score with the few chances we create.

Chelsea/City will grind these games out. We lack that mental toughness and a forward the quality of Aguero or Torres.

Gervinho was better than Giroud
