Interestingly......

....despite not playing brilliantly of late (if indeed at all!) we have only lost the same number of games as the top 2 teams....in fact the only teams who have lost less than us are both below us, which shows how close this league is going to be this season.

Interesting, eh?

We've picked up the same amount of pts (18), as we did after 11 games last season.

The top team this season has 1 pt less than Southampton did sat at the top table last season.

The 2nd placed team, however, has one more point than West Ham did sat in 2nd last season.

Last season Birmingham in 15th place (with 2 games in hand) had 14 pts, the same pts tally goes down to 17th place this season.

Overall the Championship will once again be a very tight and interesting division.

We're out of the play offs

So it's not interesting at all

Last night we were horrible against a poor side and were lucky to not get slammed

Defence is rubbish and Pearce for me has be a bad signing

Well spotted LIW!!

... but (without looking back at past records) I bet most seasons at least one promoted team was out of the playoffs after 11 games - it's after 46 games that counts remember.

Too many players off the pace. Maybe the break was a bad thing when we were going so well?

I totally agree, apart from the Everton game we have played mediocre... The Barnsley game was poor although we won, but their midfielder (Perkins I think) ran the show. Maybe teams we play up their game against us, Friday night we were second best for a lot of the game... I think that's why the goal was that much more special as we didn't look like scoring. What I've said sounds negative but we will get better and become more consistent.

I expressed concerns at the start of the season. I believe that Warnock has done well to get Leeds into this position given the threadbare nature of the squad and the inferior quality (despite arguments on here to the contrary).

The league isn't as strong this time around, in my opinion, and this is to our ultimate advantage.

Lets hope that investment is forthcoming sometime soon so that this club can really progress.
