Rovers In Debt ?

Talking in the pub on Friday night, a guy was saying that from being a debt free club at the start of the season, the club is now circa 36 mln in debt,is there any truth in this? i cant find any info on it at all.But the guy is usually bang on when he makes his comments.

Where does he get his sources from?

Always wondered what the crack was when Venky's went from debt-related chaos with Barclays to Bank of India...

Well thats the problem i have no idea were this info is coming from,i was sort of on the fringe of the conversation but was listening very closely,i was about to join in when a taxi came for them so he just shot off in the Taxi wont see him untill next Friday now,,just wondered if anyone else had heard anything,it wouldnt surprise me one bit if we become debt ridden,as you can see these Venkies still dont want to run a footy club,i personally have stuck by them feeling that eventually they will see Kean for what he was,at that point i would have admired there loyalty in giving a manager time if you know what i mean, but Kean resigned he wasnt sacked, maybe just maybe he actually saw were this club is going and jumped ship, this situation will turn me now,and by that i mean the appointment or non appointment of a manager,,this will tell me exactly what they have in mind, and if i disagree with what they do,wel,i am gone wont put up with it any longer,,i will be off,i still believe there here for the brass and when thats gone so will they,i was also told that in fact we didnt pay 8mln for Rhodes ok the deal is all about 8mln but with all sorts of ifs and buts before you pay the 8mln and if the club goes bust,no need to pay anything..lol..

Well like you say they might know how to run a chicken business but they don't know their ar$e from their elbow when it comes to footy!

Very worrying times indeed, the next manager they appoint is probably the most crucial decision we'll have to face in the last/next 30 years.

Not good obviously but like all things Venky-related, what can anyone do about it?
