No doubt Larry also knows who the real Beckford is - perhaps that's why he was so desperate to signed him for Town?

Moves around a lot ! Where,, Non league afore Leeds, Went to Everton for top flight football, Didnt work out, Joined Leicester, Managerial change, Training with the stiffs, Then us on loan, Where are all these clubs ? Where did he behave badly ? Why was it not in the press ? Where does the lazy tag come from ? Cos whenever i have seen him play he does not come across as lazy to me,,,, Not really wise for a forward to run all over the shop chasing lost causes all the time as by the time a meaningful ball comes to you, Your knacked ! Come on, Someone show me the facts that Beckford has a bad attitude, Is a bad apple and is sooo lazy,,,,,,, I wont hold my breath for the facts as there are not any at all.

Town fans who are less than complimentary towards Beckford are usually those who hate everything Leeds, to such an extent they so childishly spell the City Leeds, as L**ds and other similar variants.

Well, as a proud Town fan and a Yorkie, I don't hate any other Yorkshire club, or their fans, including Leeds and if Town don't get promoted, I'll be as happy as Larry for any other Yorkshire club which do, be it Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley, Hull or Boro

Towie - We dont mention police curruption anymore, Well not since Mirf promised a bung to keep schtum,,, Mirf - I do remember wanting Bratfud to win to stay in the top flight when they had the last day escape, And i did want Leeds to beat whoever when they got to the Euro semi finals a few years ago.

Mirf - completely with you on Leeds and ex-Leeds players - no problem with Grayson, Clayton or any others. Don't hate Leeds at all. I'm very surprised if I'm the only one who thinks Beckford has a poor attitude - compare it to Vaughan's, hmmmm.

Undoubted talent - but why hasn't that translated to top level? Attitude, that's why. Why in non league for so long? Why transfer listed twice at Leeds including transfer request at crucial time in League 1 campaign. Pathetic, sneeky elbow on Millway keeper on telly (he was already getting 'involved' against Wolves and Peterborough for us). Now 'fallen out' with the management at Leicester and training with the kids.

Just too many things to be happening by coincidence to a 'great guy'. Lets see how things develop - I'm confident of my judgement here.

Noggy - He probably had an agent saying i can get you a move to a higher division when he was on fire, Add in contract wrangles and not forgetting this is a lad from down south, He aint a Leeds fan, He aint from Leeds ! He had a go at the top flight with the Toffees and was not quite premier league standard, Change of manager at Leicester did for him there, As for the elbow ! Well my friend i could pick any player from any team in any league and find some nasty incident or other that they have done on the pitch at some time or other (footage permitting), I am also of the opinion that a lot of strikers are a little moody, So what. I also like a player who can dish it out as well as take it, Beckford can, He is also one of those players opposition fans love to hate, I didnt like him when he was at Leeds, But now he is at Town, I like him.
