Brewers Match Predictor (14): Port Vale

I expect this to be a very difficult game,Vale should be full of confidence, my head says Vale will beat us but my hearts going for a hard earned point in a1-1 draw.

See this as a win for us:

In keeping with most of the comments already made, I also think it will be tight. I will opt for a Brewers win 2.1

I think Vale will have far too much for us. There is a possibility that our younger defenders will wilt under the pressure. I believe Gillingham and Vale will break clear of the chasing pack in the next month leaving one automatic place for everyone else to play for. This group of 3 matches will show where we are in the scheme of things. I fear that will fall away to the level that many fans predicted at the start of the season. So far all 4 defeats have come against teams who are expected to be chasing honours at the top of L2.

A big deal to port vale as they see this game as a local derby more than we do. A port vale fan who i work with seems to think they have sold there full 1900 tickets allowed.
This will be a hard game which we will need to fight for to get anything out of it.
A hard slog and a draw.

As others have said this game will show whether we are still in the running. Last year we were in a similar position to that we are in now and then things started to go downhill. I hope history is not about to repeat itself and so think we'll draw 2-2.
