We have cleared over £13M off the Wage Bill from last season (well as of teh last day of last season) add another £1.5M if Ferguson completes his move.

We have made £12.5M in Transfers (£8M downpayment) this will be more once Ferguson goes.

So we would be looking at savings of/made £23M

Sounds a lot but its not, because we have -£40M income that means we are looking at £17M Black Hole still.

Then we have wages of players we have signed.

5 have been brought in, michel back from loan, redmond, asante, kerr have gone with the first team for friendlies.

That still leaves us 5 players short on last seasons squad which alex mcleish would argue was too small, never mind having 46 games plus cups, plus at least 2 european games

Even if its frees and loans we need to start making movements on targets, were short on numbers and the season is 2 weeks away

Unless we get Ranger in, a worry is we need to loan Foster out so we can loan Ranger and Killgallon in.

Foster will Save more points than Ranger will gain.

Its a no brainer

Rumours are Foster will cost £1M + Wages but then WBA have a clause to buy him for £4M if we fail to get promoted.

It is in essence a £5M deal for Foster from WBA but if we get promoted we have the option to keep Foster and save WBA £4M

Its a posibility but i think Wolves and WBA have more chance of staying up as we do of getting Promoted.

I would say they both have more chance of even 17th+ than we have of getting into Top 4 this season.

Yes on paper we have a good enough side, but once we see players leave, we have to make sure we replace them with decent players.

Best, Killgallon, McCartney, Guthrie and Koumas would be good enough additions for this level.

But its if we get that calibre....

Look at Ranger can we garuntee he would do better than Jervis?

I would be trying to get a Derbyshire if he is indeed free, if not i say get him on loan with a £1.5M option.
