disagree - Shay Given was a brilliant keeper but with his shoulder injury he will miss long periods of the season. Can't understand the negativity around big Forster. Apart for the mistake in the 3-1 Rangers game he was solid all season and made many crucial saves. He's very young for a keeper and I would have him over Given.

Get foster and westwood

Think Shay is still a top gk though feel under our new signing policy Forster or Westwood would fit the bill. Young players with potential to improve and a resell value.

i think sunderland are looking at westwood,would imagine he would go to the epl.
in my opinion would love to see given come up.i know he had a shoudrer injury but he has come back from that,at the end of the day he is still quality and has bags of experience.

Shay will be a great signing, snap him up I say.

Westwood would be a cracking signing; think we will be priced out of both Forster and Given, price wise for Forster and wages for Given. Westwood seems to making a name for himself on the international scene and has been watched by a few clubs according to the tabloids; and for a free it would make total sense to go for him!!

Given is just looking for his last big pay day.

Pay the money for forster, he will prove to be a bargain!
