So what's worse than a keeper that doesn't come of his line??
One that always comes even when he shouldn't and drops drops a fair few... I've seen Lloris do quite a bit of this in the recent past.
Some mentioned on here a couple of days ago about Lloris not being in the best form and his place in the French squad being under real threat. Those comments were accurate...
I'm all for Lloris becoming No. 1 but this Friedel bashing is just ridiculous
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree the anti Friedal stuff is becoming annoying! I am 99.9% sure that if we had not have signed Lloris then no one would have been questioning Friedal as much. The fact that we leaked 4 goals due to a very wobbly defence and Brad is being made out as a slow keeper as he didnt save all 4 goals shocks me. I have made this argument a number of times here that I do not believe any of the goals were his fault.
I too will be more than happy to Lloris as our number one keeper, one day soon, but the reasons for asking him to be dropped are not justifiable.

"What do you mean?"
Thought they were kicked out.
They didn't get past the qualifying round.
Anyway, Spurs have no excuses.
There was on paper at least 4 weeks of the season to go before the CL final.

There were rules in place...that only 4 teams from each country were allowed. The FA nominated EFC who came 4th, even though LFC were also eligible, as winners.
UEFA bent the rules to allow LFC to enter (as an unheard-of 5th team from England), they enetered at the first qualifying round.
--------------
The first bit is right, England nominated their four selected teams, the bit about UEFA bending or changing anything is wrong. There was nothing in the rules that said should a team win it, they would automatically gain a place in next seasons competition. UEFA created the rule after. Basically you're saying that the rule was there, they changed it for us for one season, then re-affirmed the way it 'should' be the next season. That didn't happen did it.
------------------------
You undermine your own argument......
"There was nothing in the rules that said should a team win it, they would automatically gain a place in next seasons competition."
EXACTLY - yet you were allowed in it when THE RULES that did exist said NO MORE THAN 4 TEAMS FROM EACH COUNTRY.
The only new rule the made AFTER that year was to allow the Champions to defend their title.....for that year though (the year LFC were Champions) they bent the rules to allow a 5th club in.
RULES....................BENT....................PHACT!

Sorry but anyone with half a brain can see that Friedal is slow to come off his line and a more younger agile keeper would of got to a few of the goals he has let in this season. I never said i don't like Friedal, i just think we have a better, younger and classer keeper wasting way whilst we are playing a 42 year old who in my opinion is not as good as last season. Let's see the spurs fans who are so against the idea of any sort of Friedal negativity when Lloris just get's fed up and we end up losing a world class keeper in true typical spurs fashion, come to me then and tell me you're glad we had Friedal as our number 1

You forgot the first important part of that rule, which begins with the words...."At the request of the National Football Association concerned..."
and that is the key bit....The FA did not request that the holders (LFC) were entered. They were not obliged to, they chose Everton and had every right to.
The rules were explicit that no more than 4 teams per country....so originally LFC were excluded and it was all above board.
UEFA broke/bent their own "5 teams rule" to accommodated LFC.
Had the FA nominated EFC, they would have been relegated to the UEFA CUp...but that's not how it turned out.

Lloris will be No.1. It will happen FACT!
BUT would you all be on the Lloris bandwagon if that throw out he made vs Villa which was straight to their winger, who crossed only for the striker to miss with the whole goal at him mercy, had turned out differently?
A dreadful "walker-like" error which he got away with.
Sure Brad is not perfect but let's not pretend that Lloris is!

UEFA asked the FA to select Liverpool ahead of Everton. The FA didn't (rightly so) but the rules always had the holders were going to play, as UEFA themselves said.

WRONG!
Winning made you eligible to qualify...it did not guarantee you played. You had to be nominated. You were'n't, you were fairly excluded, until UEFA bent their rules to allow a 5th club.
Just admit it.
