It was mentioned a few weeks back that bids from Villa, amongst possible other suitors had been rebuffed, but with the re-emergence of Saul Deeney on to the squad list from the depths of DCFC obscurity (a terrible place to find oneself I'd have thought!) I only have bad feelings!
Discuss.
My reticence would be that Villa will be in completely the same place as us next season (the Championship, not the Premier League) and would be of no use to him whatsoever!
I'd only be truly happy if it's what he wanted, he went to somewhere worthwhile, and we got a decent fee; circa £3million.

saul deeney has only just come back from a serious shoulder injury- thats why we got adam in.

Legzdins is a much better keeper - but that's not to belittle Fielding. And there's nothing wrong with Saul Deeney either. We are indeed blessed with having three keepers who are better than Campy.
And if Savage was still playing, we'd have four better than Campy.

Interesting. How many would go with Legzdins over Fielding?

Legzins(?) is as good a shot stopper as Fielding but His distribution is too slow so I'd stick with Fielding.

Campy's rubbish, Strett, and you know it. I'll say one thing for him though - he's perfect for a team of hoofballing cloggers.

Only 2 teams have conceded less than Forest this season.
You make such rubbish arguments.

It's not about how many you concede overall, Spotty.
It's about how many you concede against your mortal enemies, whether that be 11 against 10 or 10 against 11.
3 in a row and counting - eat it, Spotty. One day it'll choke you - if it hasn't already.

I like Frank Fielding both as a person and as a goalkeeper. But undoubtedly Legzdins looks like his time has come.
I think Camp is a good enough goalkeeper but he's such an unpleasant character. I don't imagine many of his team mates are pleased he's in the team and he is really not that good. I was pleased to see Jamie Ward beat him at the near post when we only had 10 men. That was poor goalkeeping.
