Totally agree, a distinctly average player

Hmm, I've not been convinced whenever I've seen him although that may be twisted by that game when he was at full-back and Tyson tore him to shreds. We need another centre half but I don't really see what he offers that Morgan and Chambers don't have? We need a compliment to those two, not another version.
Unless I've got him wrong and he can put his foot on the ball, has a bit of pace and is a decent passer then I'd rather we looked elsewhere.

Rest assured there will be a deluge of Derby fans telling us how terrible he is - until he signs a new contract with them.

To be honest id be gutted if he went to you, i think hes a decent player, very composed, gets the ball down, goes on little runs and looks to spray the ball about rather than hoof it up.
He had a terrible game against you lot at city ground but which player didnt....he was played in the wrong position against tyson who had the game of his life and tore him apart.
I do rate leacock and the player you saw that night isnt the player that he really is

Good, he could be just the job then. Morgan and Chambers are identical, each good in the air and awful with the ball. I'd like us to have some contrast to them, he's not particularly quick though is he?

Lloyd is right, would be nice to have a CB who can knock it about nicely. Not sure I'd be keen on Leacock though, seems a bit of a thug every time I've seen him recently, to be fair though, that's been Derby's game plan every time we've played them recently.

He will be cheap though, that will suit ND
