Good game, I thought.

We looked up for it, matched them in most areas and can count ourselves unlucky not to bank all three points.

The goal was a bit fluky but we made loads of other chances. Shame we got exposed to a fast counter attack after Robbie lost the ball on the edge of their box.

Was it just me, or was the ref particularly shocking? Not saying that he was biased, but he made some very strange calls and seemed to be very easily swayed.

Calvin and Zander head and shoulders above again, though a good all round team effort. Just need to get a few wins now - I see we have dropped to tenth so need to get back on track, starting Saturday!

I saw the game exactly as you've stated Steve, went home feeling satisfied we didn't wilt under the pressure to see out a 1-1; in fact I laughed when Zola was retrieving the ball for their keeper to save time towards the end, shows that the team thought we were the most likely to get the winner.

All ready for another bumpy ride on Saturday!

Completely agree guys.

Thought we were worthy of all 3 points and after the terrible result Saturday thought the team as a whole really stood up.

Calvin isn't quite up to speed yet, a fully fit Calvin would have bagged at least a couple of those chances last night. Bell, Paterson and Zander really, really impressed me last night . Their sheer effort was there for all to see, indeed the 'team' effort was there, we are becoming a very good team, who defend as a team and attack as a team.

Vale were no better than half a dozen other teams we've played so far this season. No where near as good as Gillingham - but they are strong and will be there or there abouts at the end of the season.

Really content with the Brewers at the moment. GR is doing a fine job, long may it continue

A good game of football and a very diffrent team than last season. If we keep playing this type of football with lots of fight,I see no reason why there are lots of points to pick up this season.
I hope Tomo is ok and back in goal A.S.A.P.
It was great to see a good crowd at the Pirelli and it would be great to see a good turn out this Saturday.

Come on you Brewers.

A very good game of football where we showed a lot of fight, determination and courage to match and better Port Vale. They are a big strong side, but we took their physical game on the chin and played some lovely football.

For me we look like a team and there are little partnerships starting to really look strong, Diamond/O'Connor, Zola/Paterson, Bell/Dyer. When you get this we start to flow as a team and with outstanding individuals like Mags we can really compete at this level.

Delighted with what is on offer at the moment, hats off to Mr Rowett and his staff.

Now three points on Saturday would be massive, and keep this amazing spell going.

Up the Brewers
