Though a well deserved point last night, the second half highlighted yet again our inability to score when on top. Obviously this prob is accentuated with Davies' injury and according to Keeef on t'wireless, Monday, he's hoping to sign a loanee in time for Forest.
Got a horrible feeling it may be Nile Ranger, now that he's escaped prison, yet again, not at all impressed if so...Anyone with ideas/knowledge of young eager strikers at Prem clubs, or gnarled old veterans kicking their heels in reserve teams?
Loan Ranger?

erm.... top of me head,
Cameron Jerome
Fraizer Campbell
Possibly Kenwyne Jones
Macheda surely can't be in Man Utd's plans these days
Even Carlton Cole is kicking his heels.
But as you say Spart, it will probably be Ranger.
Frank Nouble isn't breaking into the first team either...

Nouble
Ranger
We do need a striker though as last night Harewood had a few chances and bungled it time and time again.
Also didn't rate Dagnell at all last night either

Bejayzus, I'd managed to blank Nouble from memory...now he's back there, cheers for that...
Kenwyne Jones is a great shout, though I doubt if he'll fancy us and his wage would be restrictive. Never understood the fascination with Cameron Jerome, more miss than hit (making him a typical Reds forward I hear you cry..). Is Macheda in United's named squad? And what the fook has happened with/to Frazier Campell?

I don't think Macheda is in the named squad and despite making that list I am not entirely sure that any of them will be better than what we have anyway.
Harewood for 70 mins and Mido for 20 might be a good option, Etuhu can play up front. Danny Rose is not there physically yet, and who knows what is going on with Noble-Lazerous.
I would also like to see how Jordan Clark gets on in Mellis' position.

There's talk about Macheda leaving Man Utd due to lack of first team opportunities, so could be worth a punt, but all depends on what money we have to spend on a loanee.
Man Utd have a young England U21 striker, Will Keane, who may be worth a shout, or Jonathan Obika at Spurs. Other than that you're looking at the usual suspects, Nile Ranger, Franck Nouble.
Isn't Marouane Chamakh out of favour at Arsenal??

Always rued the fact that we missed out on David McGoldrick when MR was in charge and instead he opted for Forest.
He's still only 24 and he's scored enough goals in the past to suggest he'll score his fair share in the future. Out of favour at Forest, already on loan at Coventry when MR took over, 6 goals in 11 ganes so far in this loan spell.
Won't happen, but a player like him and with Championship experience, would have been ideal for us.

He's notching a few in the third division with Cov. as he did with Saints...but in Championship, not so great. Forest fans have nicknamed him, McGoaldrought...
