You're only as good as your last game.............someone once said. Well if this is true we got thumped at bottom of the table Peterborough and Millwall blew a three goal lead against Mirf's Super Blues. This game could go either way if that's to go by, but Town have always found Millwall a tough place to go to. Town have had an amazing first 12 games and I don't think anyone would have predicted to been top six for most of the season so far. Still, performances like the one reported on Tuesday night and we will soon plummet down the table. Town's last trip to The New Den had fans worried about going, but the players were showing signs of being scared, as they let the hostile atmosphere get to them and we went out of the Play Off's in 2010 with less than a whimper. Surely the atmosphere won't be as hostile this time around, so the players might be able to play like we know they can and take home all three points.
This seasons form
Millwall have had a mixed bag of results this season at The New Den so hopefully Town can take advantage of this. Seems they are struggling for clean sheets at home, so I hope Cosh and Becks take full advantage of this

Town away have, according to some, had their best performances away from home. At home to Wolves in our last game we were superb, but as I missed the Peterborough game on Tue I can't comment how bad we were. Having said that we are the best team on the road this season, thus far, according to stats365.com

Team News
Should Smithies be dropped, as, Tez has assured me, he should have save "that goal"?
Loads on here and DATM are saying that Woods, Gerrard, Ward and Norwood were pretty dire on Tue too? Grayson called on all his sidelined players last weekend to keep the pressure on, so will he take the plunge with some of his squad players? What do we do with the line up then? Well here is mine.........
Position | Name |
GK | Smithies |
RB | Dixon |
CB | Lynch |
CB | Clarke (c ) |
LB | Hunt |
RW | Scannell |
Mid | Southern |
Mid | Clayton |
LW | Hammill |
FW | Vaughan |
FW | Beckford |
I know I've dropped Norwood, but I believe we need to be as tough as possible in the middle and we need some speed and skill on the wings. We can win at Millwall, as others have already done that this season.
How Much
It's pay on the day, but you can purchase a ticket from the club for £26! Darn that's $40 in your currency
Ref
Oxfordshire Official Mr Graham Scott will take charge of this affair. He's been on the National List of Referees since 2008. His assistants are Mr Gavin Muge & Mr John Busby. The 4th official is Mr Neil Hair
How to get there
If your gonna drive to Millwall then do like 38 is and have a parking space lined up, but don't hang around after the game. If Loui has some seats spare in his Time Machine this will be a great help too, as Millwall are not the friendliest club. For others, like me, then best bet is get to London Bridge and get the Overground Train to South Bermondsey, where you will be met by Officers from The Met and escorted down a walkway to the Away Turnstiles for your own safety.
Fans
Millwall's Fans are known for many a mile from Bermondsey as not very friendly. This been said some decided to sit in a pub at Waterloo one night and ambush a few Mini Buses full of "Wall" Fans. This was not a very wise move as the ensuing battle was known as "Battle of Waterloo". Now it seems that the said ambushed Millwall Fans were not the sort to mess with and it got quite messy. Now I for one hope the Millwall fans are not gonna replicate that welcome for some innocent Town Fans and everyone has an enjoyable day.
Pubs
If anyone, 38 or Wakey, wants to recomend a good pub for a pint and chat before the trip from London Bridge then do put it down. I know Tez is looking forward to his trip to London, so we are been taken to Shoreditch first to a pub called The White Horse. This is purely to wet the Babies head and not for the entertainment on offer, I can assure you.
