ok I am bored... I just like the player and know we have Shinji so it wont happen. Most likely we will move for the Celtic destroyer.

We don't need any more attacking players. We're creating shed loads of chances and scoring plenty. And we can't fit in all the ones we have at the moment.

We need a Danielle De Rossi type player. Put him in our team and we'd be awesome. Back four would get much needed protection and the midfield would get a massive boost.

Eriksen is relatively cheap, (cite De Boer's pre-match interview on how Ajax get Arsenal'd on players) a SAF trait. Surely we would have him if the Manager wanted him.

I personally think our defence is the problem. braga 2 goals with just any decent marking would have stopped. even against cluj dejavu and tottenham dejvau and these sides scored from the chances they had virtually when they ventured past the half way line. My point is our defenders are to blame. They hardly have to do any defending but can't defend.

Eriksen is a very good player

If we did sign him, our best line-up would hypothetically look like this:

We have enough attacking talent

Defense is where we are nowhere near as good as we should be. Hopefully players getting back fit will ease the concerns but do we really have a top class CB who is playing at their peak?

Jones - nowhere near peak
Smalling - nowhere near peak
Evans - looking very good but not up with the best
Rio - Miles past his best
Vidic - Probably now past his best.

We had the best CB pairing in world football when Rio and Vidic were at their best with a quality Evra and Nev at FB

Defensively we are a long long way from where we were for me, even when all players are fully fit

United don't need Eriksen, but he will be a great player in the near future.
