Newcastle away on Sunday.
Not easy, but winnable if we're on form. The key to getting 3 points here will be what won us the game their last year. The pace of Odem and Long. Both MUST play.
Team :
.............. Foster........................
Tamas McAuley Olsson Ridgewell
.........Yacob..... Mulumbu..........
Odemwingie....Morrison.........Gera
.................Long........................
Subs ; L.Daniels, Popov, Fortune, Rosenberg, Lukaku, Brunt, Dorrans/Thomas/El Ghanassy

Tough game, could get overrun if not on form, but you're right, Long and Wingie must play, Lukaku on the bench to bring on if needed.
Rosenberg will start to prove himself soon, just needs a goal, top player.

some Newcastle supporters declare us as their bogey team, but I can't see it myself.
I'd be happy with a point.

Thomas is back,......finally.
Personally think we've missed him the past few weeks.

JH, I'd start with exactly your team - perfect. And despite his goal against Reading, I am beginning to think Lukaku won't ever contribute as much as Long or Odemwingie, so for me, no starting him or bringing him on for either of those two unless we're winning by two goals with 5 minutes left. But if we're struggling with 30 mins to go, Long and Odemwingie are by far the better options and must remain on the pitch. At Villa, for instance, I was completely baffled why Long was taken off.
I think Jerome Thomas is back in training, and he will give us even more options in midfield simply by being able to hold onto the ball better and picking the right pass.

Think you misunderstood kanga........they were comparing you to bogeys........green with envy, sticky and persistant but ultimately discarded.

Well that's my assessment of Romelu Lukaku out the window straight away.

Papiss Cisse's deflected injury-time winner handed Newcastle a barely-deserved Premier League victory against West Bromwich Albion at St James' Park.
Sammy Ameobi's speculative strike hit the back of an unaware Cisse and flew past stranded away keeper Ben Foster.
