I for one would like to apologise to Charlie. It is clear his confidence has been shot to pieces with the misses this season and everyone is on his back. Yet when your confidence is low the last thing you need is people hurling abuse, shouting at you and telling you that you are rubbish.
The time has come to accept that Charlie is getting into positions to miss, working hard for the team and his luck is about to change. Just keep plugging them in and look for an instinctive finish rather than thinking too much about it.
Come on Charlie I know you can do it.
An Apology to Charlie

THANK. YOU. FURZ.
It's not just me thankfully, I understand people are angry we're not scoring but to solely blame a player who is trying hard when it's obvious he's not getting what his efforts deserve is cruel. At Crawley on Tuesday night I was really wound up when I heard our fans sarcastically cheering his substitution. That to me is as bad as booing your own player. Almost telling him to ufck off out which is hardley going to make him any better is it?
It happened with Wilbraham a few years ago, no player who gives his all for a shirt and struggling deserves that type of treatment from the fans!
I'm struggling to defend Charlie, but I will always stand by him beause unlike a player like Lowe, I can see Charlie is trying his hardest for us.

Totally agree with the comments, and a message to the booing morons if you can do better............

I totally agree with the comments above, and feel Charlie should get everyone's support.
However, if the fans feel Lowe or any of the other wasters (John you know who you are) then they fully deserve all the stick dished out to them.
I freely admit I couldn't do better than Lowe, but I would charge half his salary and I wouldn't travel to the games but I would still be no worse than him!!
I do like the idea of saying to the fans if you could di better....
How about having a lucky ticket draw and the strikers are 3 lucky ticket holders from the Cowshed. At least they would take the pressure off poor old Charlie and they wouldn't score less than Lowe

The thing is McDonald was surplus to requirements to Brentford and wasnt getting in their team, he was brought in to replace Baldock, who we sold for well over a million, Charlie cost nothing.
Lowe has been very dissapointing, and for a proven goalscorer is not performing.
Ibhere who isnt a goalscorer has already got 4 for Colchester, he would not of scored that amount for us, so there is something wrong with our style of play.

Charlie was NOT bought in to replace Baldock, he was bought in to boulster our options and support Baldock up front in a two, or replace him when injured and/or fatigued. We chased Charlie all that Summer struggling to get him through lack of funds, but managed to in the end when we lost Sam, and in almost panic buy style aquired him and he was forced to replace Sam, even though that wasn't his job in the first place. He's a completley different player to Sam Baldock (His words not mine) and wasn't bought in to replace him.

McMaccer, so what youare saying is that Charlie wasn't brought in to replace Sam, but because Sam has gone, Charlie has had to replace him.
Sounds like he is a replacement to me.

Charlie wasn't targeted as a replacement ton Sam throughout the summer as Robbo was adament Baldock would stay, by the time he got Charlie, Baldock was off! There were strong rumours he was joining in and around the time we beat Chesterfield at StadiumMK when Sam was still here, signed him a few days later.
