Game Recommendations

Here is a little of my gaming background, seeing as I am a fairly infrequent visitor to this board.

I'm not a huge gamer. The game I spend most time on is FIFA, but after rediscovering online gameplay last year (and spending far too much time on it) this year's versions seems a little stale.

Aside from FIFA, I have all Call of Dutys since Modern Warfare, and although that game was brilliant, the rest have been bought out of tradition more than anything and I have spent less and less time on each game. I also have Battlefield Bad Company 1 and 2 and Battlefield three. Although all three were brilliant, especially the most recent two, I do not have the time to get stuck into the online gameplay. Resistance 1 and 2 are the other FPS games I own and although both had decent campaigns the online was crap.

I do own Burnout Paradise and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and although I had hours of fun on the former, the latter was far too rigid and felt more like Gran Turismo than NFS. Driving games will never be as good as the original Most Wanted!

I rarely venture outside of sports and FPS games, despite the fact that when I do it is nearly always great! These are the games I have played:

All Assassin's Creeds - Brilliant series, stagnating a bit but hopefully will be reinvigorated by a new character in the next game.
Dead Space 2 - I am a real pu$$y when it comes to horror films and games, but I found it brilliant.
Saint's Row the Third - One of the best games I own. So much fun to be had.
GTA IV - I didn't really appreciate it when I played it, but it is a masterpiece. 'The Godfather' of video games.
Portal 2 - Good fun, but didn't find it very challenging.
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record - The worst game I have bought. Fun for about an hour, then the novelty wears off.

Back to the point, I tend to buy the FIFAs and CODs to keep up with them, and miss out on the other gems. Can anyone recommend any PS3 games to get? Not too fussed about genre, although sports games and FPS games seem to have lost their impact on me.

I have my eye on Uncharted 2 which looks like a blast.
