What in the world was Fergie thinking when he dished out money on Ashley Young?
I wouldn't take him, if we were offered him for free. And even if I was forced to take him, he would rot somewhere on the Arsenal reserves bench.

Actually, that shouldn't even be counted as a 'buy', but rather 'charity' on Man U's part.

Not really.
He is very handy to have in a squad, due to the variuos positions he can fill in.
He just isn't a first team player.

Young wasn't as garbage when Fergie bought him. He was actually a decent player for Villa. Possibly overpriced but looked like he'd be a good squad player at the least. I'm surprised he's as garbage as he is for United.
