TBH, if CY was found not guilty and we could move on from the position we are in I would be happy to still have him and PP in charge.
We have had 'interesting' times down at Stans since CY has been involved and when you weigh up the pros and cons [no pun intended], imo the pros have [and still are] outweighing the cons for now.

That is the single most mental statement I think I have ever read about Blues. I don't recall ever seriously worrying about going bankrupt with Sully and Gold in charge.

I think carson done everything with the best intentions and had his pants pulled down by sully and gold, over the price of the club then all the transfer fee's left to pay on players, as you know sully and gold liked to pay £1.99 a month for 20 years!

He came in spent some top money on wages for the likes of zigic, hleb, bentley, martins etc and had we not been relegated who knows we may be in a totally different situation!

He's been both incredibly unlucky and naive in my opinion and is far from the satan many believe he is! He took a risk letting mcleish spend so much money that we didnt have and it back fired due to relegation but it also won us a cup.

Dont want this ex qpr man despite him saying he sons were born in and support birmingham and his wife is a brummie, he is still out to make a quick quid probably wants to buy us for 30m, sell butland, redmond, davies etc make about half of that back, loan players and chop and change managers until eventually we go up without him spending a penny, then selling us for a profit to another joker and making out he is god!

My simple answer is we deserve better from our owners ! My hand is keeping out of my wallet too fund who and what. My reason to stay away and do I want too watch dross and waste my time and money watching Blues play awfull football. Had this under Mc Cleish and now under Clarke, I made this decision when they did not fight for Hughton who was the best manager we have had for years, simple vote with your feet. It may effect Blues short term longer term may help to sort ownership out .Rant over

KPS...
"TBH, if CY was found not guilty and we could move on from the position we are in I would be happy to still have him and PP in charge..."

Strange, I have been thinking along the same lines myself.

In a way I hope he is found not guilty, but given how most people seem to have assumed he is guilty and slagged him off this past year or so, I am not sure if he would want to stay as owner anyway.

I am still confused why the majority shareholders (75%) crawled under their rocks and left us, and their investment, to rot.
(I think CY only holds about 25%?) .

Anyway, we will know his fate soon... isn't his trail in November? Innocent until proven guilty right?

Yes his trail starts in November i think the 12th is the start date.

You say people have slagged him off for the past 12 months and would he want to come back after that but him getting arrested was not his first flaw.

He got taken for a mug by Sullivan and Gold and then went back on promises that he had made to the fans.

Yes I will always be grateful to him for giving us the money to go on and win a cup but he was a chancer and he rolled the dice too many times and came up short.

The 'other' people in the background and supposed billionaire backers are a joke, they have lent Carson the money and have invested into a non-existent company in BIHL and not invested into BCFC. None of them could give two hoots about BCFC and the sooner Carson and his band of merry men are of the club the better.

We are currently stagnating because of a lack of investment and because Carson has been able to hide behind his court case and his non-existent backers. people talk of Polly Chu (or whatever her name was) and other mystery backers but if any of these were set to lose money in BCFC then they would have done more in Carson's hour of need, but what they actually did was lent money against his house and St Andrews that they are now calling back in which is why we are in serious trouble!

Those of you who are adamant about CY & PP being bad news, use the argument that some are saying about Paladini, who would buy the club cheap, sell off its 'stars' to recoup some of the outlay, hope we go up and then sell the club at a profit.
If it is that easy and simple why aren't CY/PP doing just that?
We have to remember that although we are fans, they are the owners and they can do what they like [unfortunately in some respects], but the fact is that they haven't done what most are saying other prospective 'bad' owners would do.
Does anyone see a pattern here?
Maybe, just maybe, CY & PP do have BCFC at heart and until the court case is over [irrespective of its outcome] we should only judge them on their actions thereafter.
No one bemoans the Golds & Diddy Dave 'swindling' CY out of the 'money' that has seemingly got him into trouble in the first place but are blaming CY for putting his money where is mouth was and getting us the highest finish for decades and our first major cup win at a major stadium against major opponents.
Come December we may well all know where we stand, until then...
