Sssssh, I wrote an article on here about how Jay wasn't good enough for Liverpool and told I wasn't a fan and a wum.

We have someone interested in him, talk him up and they will buy.

I acknowledge Spearing is a good player, just not good enough for Liverpool and he has no chance of getting in before Allen, Lucas, Gerrard, Sahin or Shelvey.

Some players play with their heart more than others and it's just as much an attribute as having pace or any other is. Kuyt's heart made up many a time for a bad first touch. Spearing has his attributes, other have theirs. Spearing's best attributes are his heart - his determination and willingness to fight for his club, his passing and his tackling. Whereas you could have a player who is good at passing, tackling, shooting and is pacey yet he isn't good enough, why? because he doesn't have the heart, the determination, the willingness to fight. Think Benayoun for an example.

Carragher has been a Liverpool legend and one of the best defenders to wear the red shirt and has many medals to prove it and quite frankly your no ability comment is a disgrace.

I wasn't best pleased that BR got the managers job to say the least yet....i think the man is a class act , i cant put into words how pleases i am with the way he has us playing, with his conduct during interviews etc..pure class

whilst we are not winning all the time - i would usually moan but i can see what BR is trying to do, the young lads he has brought through are certainly players who look very promising indeed

however - Spearing , Flanno, Carra will IMO never be good footballers

Quite frankly TOOR, my comment about Carra is my opinion , reds whom i worked with, drank with, went the match with use to comment on how poor Carra was,,,

The manager / press / fans asked for people to stop booing him but people went OTT by making him a idol for doing nothing. during this time he was clocking up more woeful performances but as players get more appearences fans say he cant be that bad as he has played for us x amount of times.....when every year for the first 4-5 years reds would say he will be moved on as he isn't good enough....he then hit 200/ 300 odd appearences and people wanted to give him a knigthood

I am sure Carra will be gutted to hear that The Verbal Jouster doesn't rate him or his career.

I mean all them caps, medals, appearances, plaudits from many different managers, now worthless because the Jouster has spoken.

If only Carra had been as good as Traore or Kvarme.

You have never ever understood young players and how it takes time for them to reach their potential. Carragher was booed when he was a young player by a minority of idiots who also have a problem in understanding potential and backing young players, thus giving them confidence.

Since then Carragher went on to become one of the best defenders to ever wear a Liverpool shirt. if you can't see that, that's your problem and a few of your drunk mates who you played football with who like to boo young players are welcome to your crap.

There is players in every team / squad with a haul of medals but they have never been the reason why that team has won that trophy....look at our 2005 CL winning team, whilst Alonso, Gerrard, Hyypia, Hamman and a few other were fantastic, some of the players that picked up a CL winners medal was just wrong. This happens all the time, pegge arpexhead probably has a about 10 from his time with us....i'll say no more

Carragher was outstanding that year we won the Champions League. In fact if it weren't for Gerrard he'd have a mountain of Liverpool Player of the Year awards.

Part of the defence which conceded only six goals in twelve games leading up to the final against some of the best teams and players in the world.
