Tonight's line-up

I know we have no idea what the side will look like (at least I haven't) and I'm sure there will be changes from Saturday, but who would you like to see?

I'd like to see Thompson back, also RdV keeping his place because he deserves to, Flint, Ferry, Ritchie, Bostock, Collins.

Williams on the bench with Storey

I've no idea how this fits together but then I'm not the manager!

Thoughts?

What-ho chaps.

Yes, Bostock picked up an injury in Saturday's win.

RdV played against Stoke, and I think he also played against Wigan last season - I think there's a good chance that Paolo will pick him. He might go with Devera at right-back, since he was involved in the good defensive display at the weekend, but Thompson is fine by me. With Navarro and Bostock out, I suppose the midfield pair has to be Ferry and whatshisname - the one who misses penalties.

Oh, and it's on Radio 5 for anyone who doesn't have a better option.

Devera keeps his place. Roberts for RdV.

And whatshisname with Ferry.

Decent looking bench.

RdV isn't even on the bench....and no midfield cover at all. Let's hope no-one picks up a knock...!

Although I see Williams is back. He can play on the wing I suppose.

RdV on bench according to Adver site...BBC bench only adds up to 6!

Aha....good spot.

Quick second half hat-trick from him then. .

Oh well.

Glad we made a fight of it, but it sounds like Villa were more incisive in the final third and just about deserved it.

Maybe others will disagree, but given a choice I'd rather have 3 points against Sheff Utd in the league than beat Villa...we've had an entertaining run, but now it's time to concentrate on the bread and butter...

Oh, and well done to Storey - a big plus from the evening.

Oh well, they did well. I escaped to my attic to listen to it on the computer. Bottle of scotch up there! Good job that it didn't go to extra time & penalties, otherwise I would have been incapable of getting down the stairs.
